Windows Live Mail is being broken since this last update.

Obviously NO ONE AT OUTLOCK IS LISTENING!  I have had Hotmail for 14 years and it was incredibly efficient.  Ever since the switch to "Outlook" e-mail and shortcuts have been major catastrophies.  It wasn't broke so why did Outlook "fix" it.

I'm beginning to wonder if MS is trying to force us into buying something from them.

I too, have had Hotmail for years, since about '03, and about 4 yrs ago, I started using WLM (Windows Live Mail) because it allowed me to have access to both my accounts, it's HERE, on my computer along with all my folders and calendar, there are NO ADS, to soak up processor and memory.

The two previous posts on this forum have been about WLM being broken since this last update. It will hang up trying to upload my folders, and while it is doing THAT, everything else moves at GLACIAL speeds. :(

how do i access passport email

Microsoft sent me a receipt to an address other than the one I had registered with my order.  They sent it to my address with the @ replaced by a % then an @passport.com extension.  Did they just create that account?  How do I access it?  I have tried several ways to do it but without success.

I have several workbooks that form part of an analysis library and I want to display them as thumbnails of the report not the standard xls icons - does anyone know if this is possible and how i would do this on SkyDrive?

Suddenly lost hotmail account!!

I am writing this for my wife as she is suddenly unable to login to her hotmail account.  It is saying that account does not exist...she checks her email regularly and all of a sudden her account has disappeared...Is it possible to retrieve her account?

Cannot open attachments being sent to me in Outlook since the change from Hotmail.

When I click on the picture download the box comes up and I press open when done after the second count down to zero noting happens. I have been following the threads. I did all the updates and empty the browser history updated my Chrome. I did everything every body else has done but no results. What am I missing?

Unable to upload documents onto Skydrive

I have created a word document on the cloud and it was working until yesterday. Since yesterday night, even though I can edit the document, it does not save. The upload centre shows that as a failed action.

Emails being sent to my account have been bouncing for six days now even though account is still active

Emails being sent to my account have been bouncing for six days now! I can log into my account but during this same time period I have not been able to access any emails, skydrive, etc.

If anyone emails me they get:



When I log into my account, I get this:


I have tried everything I can think of including:
Multiple browsers
Multiple client devices
Clearing my cache
Logging in and out
Reinstalling Windows 7, with updates

I have also submitted multiple problem reports via the support link on the live.com page and haven't heard anything from anyone.

Can somebody PLEASE troubleshoot my account? Can I PLEASE talk to a live support person?


Can not attach files to my email in outlook. Msg says IE 10 has stopped working. I am using IE 10

I need help. I have tried many times to add a word file attachment to an email without success.

 

I am using Outlook.com and IE10

 

I have searched this community and see that this is a long running problem that has been reported multiple times since 2012.

 

I have tried all the steps others have stated as resolution. They do not work.

 

I have deleted IE history and cookies.

 

I have disabled Silverlight (I have the latest version).

 

I have even put the file on my sky drive but when I try to attach that file IE stops working.

 

I can not believe the amount of time this is taking. This worked when I was on Hotmail and I have wasted so much time with this so far.

 

What is going on?

I get e-mails with attachmentsthat display except for photos.  What action do I take to get them to display.
