Why does my email keep doing a sweep and deleting important emails
Title says it all. I remember the password for it, the security question and all the details I entered for creating the account besides the e-mail address I actually used.
I know the alternate e-mail address that I used during the sign up. I'm sure there is a way that will send all e-mails associated with the alternate e-mail to that e-mail address because I believe I have done it before just can't remember how.
Any help will be appreciated.
Hi, Hotmail settings are in English. I live in Spain. Hotmail autocorrects such that if i type in an english word hotmail will change this into a similar spanish word. also i get a red squiggly line under every english word i type (unless of course the
word is for example Madrid which hotmail recognises as a spanish word. How can i turn this off? thanks

I have created an alias to my outlook.com email account. The alias is of my corporate email ID. The alias was created without any issues, and the alias was configured for 'send and receive'. The 'send and receive' function is working fine from the webinterface
of outlook.com.
Problem #1
Now, I configured the corporate email ID in my email client, MS Outlook 2013. The configuration was done with the auto-sync facility available with MS Outlook 2013. The sync is working wonderfully well in receiving mail (pop). But incase of sending mails,
some of the mails, especially the one with attachments are not getting delivered. I understand the actual process happening in like this - Outlook 2013>Outlook.com>My Email Alias SMTP Server. Somehow the system is failing in some mail deliveries.
Problem #2
I used another of my corporate ID in the similar fashion but this time with another email client. I configured the email client as POP and SMTP, and not auto-sync. The POP server used was pop3.live.com, with my email alias accessing the pop server. The
system is working fine without any issues.
The SMTP server has been configured as smtp.live.com with port 587, SSL/TLS. Here, the problem starts. Some of the mails are getting lost, especially with attachment. understand the actual process happening in like this - Outlook 2013>Outlook.com>My Email Alias SMTP Server.
But if I change the SMTP server to my corporate mail server, smtp.domain.com, the system works wonderfully well, with 100% mail delivery, even with attachments (including heavy attachments).
Somewhere the system of Outlook 2013>Outlook.com>My Email Alias SMTP Server is becoming unreliable.
CAN SOME ONE HELP ME BY THROWING SOME LIGHT OR RECTIFY THIS ISSUE.
Why I want to route my mails through outlook.com?
1. Has larger capacity than my corporate mail.
2. Has better features to sync with other devices.
3. Backs up mail even if my email client corrupts (which my corporate smtp sever never does).
4. Quick to access using webmail option.
5. Integrates with my social network. Hence, with a single log-in I can perform multiple task.

As many of you are encountering this problem (office365 bull****) I thought I would give you my way of resolving it.
First I d like to clarify what my issue was to make sure you fit into the category:
Essentially yesterday I began linking my e-mail accounts through forwarding between gmail and outlook to have all my e-mails in one place and what not. At this point I also created a new Alias that belonged to my school e-mail "@students.uu.nl ".
What I did then was make my student e-mail my PRIMARY ALIAS.
Right after doing this I could no longer log into my Hotmail/outlook account as a result of this "This account can't be used to access Outlook.com..." error.
Now, at first I did not realize what in the world was going on and since my e-mail is not "@sample.edu" format and since it never even used Microsoft account (it uses gmail actually ...where it works perfectly) I was very frustrated because I did not use office 365 nor did I use a edu e-mail and thus I did not fall into any of the categories on how to resolve the problem. (clearing cache etc..).
After lots of researching and trial and error I discovered that indeed my school has some sort of link to microsoft but its just never used nor advertized.
At this point in order to fix the problem all I did was sing in to the microsoft account ( the one you use to post here), went into Settings-> Account aliases --> and I removed my school e-mail as my primary alias.
Afterwards my hotmail/outlook e-mail worked just fine!
However I believe this will only work in certain cases which are similar to mine.

I have successfully completed the SMS verification yet additional features are not unlocked. I have been using the account for months, this was a 10 year old Hotmail account. Opened several cases with MS only to have them closed with zero resolution.
How do I get support? It is like you do not want me to use your services.
Hi, I am extremely computer illiterate...I created an admin account years ago (when my teenage daughter was annoying me) We NEVER restart the computer and hence haven't had to input it in some time. Some update a few months ago insisted I restart
computer and when I did...I had forgotten the admin password. Fiddled and rang around and desperately tried to get in (have old school dos knowledge).
Eventually, cheapest quote was $35 from computer repairers down street from me to fix problem.
Paid the money, about 15 mins there all up, came home, set up, again, could not get in as password wanted. Rang them and they advised to being back down. I made it clear to these fellas from the start I knew very very little about computer tech or software
originally. When I returned, the other fella helped me and said it was going to take a bit longer and he had to drop his child somewhere etc and I had to leave it overnight. When I returned, imagine my surprise when he wanted another $40. I was upset but
paid and they promised I'd never have that problem again.........................
Recently tried to install some Microsoft family safety controls created a new account (without passwords for parents and children), can't remember if I had to restart computer but the old Family profile returned wanting the old password. I rang this computer
company and explained issue and was told I've re-enacted to old password somehow from encrypted or hidden files....??????????????? I said I'd like to bring it back in for them to delete or do whatever they did last time password and that I would expect them
to do that at no charge because of prior advice and payment to them.
Well, the fella said he would have a quick look at it but they would have to charge something!
I'm furious as the local PC shop was only going to charge $50 plus guarantee etc and these blokes undercut them as they are now working from home and then made me pay again anyway.
Is there anyway to resolve this without paying any more money out? Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.
P.S. It is now the only admin profile or the only one that needs a password that I don't know and I cannot seem to make any change or even uninstall family safety stuff.

b) Doing everything posted about how to close my account - different browsers, clearing cache etc...
c) Sent my PUID first on the forums via private message and then to the people at escalation, but still nothing done
