Automated vacation replies start date

Dear moderator,
is there any way to setup  Automated vacation replies on outlook.com/mail.live.com within periode?
i mean, when i setup some automated vacation replies, i didn't see the start date and the end date of the vacation replies (autoreply).

please advice.

Junk mail going straight into my inbox – How can this be?

I have now started to receive junk mail straight into my inbox, I pay for my account and my junk mail options are set to exclusive.

On the emails that come through hotmail tells me that the sender is in my contacts list. I can't see any evidence of this.

Blocking the mails do not seem to work.

Can you please advise how to solve this issue

Just want my account deleted!

Hi all,

I feel I am having an issue that unfortunately too many others have had before me.

I have had a hotmail account for nearly 8yrs without issue.

Yesterday the account got spammed, and sent offensive material to my entire address book, former colleagues, the lot.

I went though the account retrieval procedure, gained access again, moved my important emails to another account and then went to close/delete the account.

I type in my password to confirm I want to close the account and persistantly get the error message:

Our server is having a problem. We're working to fix it as soon as we can, so try again in a few minutes.

That was 24hrs ago, and I am livid as I am still receiving emails to that spammed account and I CAN'T STOP IT!

I just want the account DELETED FOR GOOD!!

Also, I made a new email address with live.co.uk to transfer my Xbox live gamertag too. I do not have a paid for membership but wanted to keep the tag, fair enough I though. However, when I logged into Xbox website with my new email address it immediately generated me a new gamertag that is now stuck to my nice new email address! Cheers microsoft!!!! I now have my original gamertag moved to a 3rd temporary email address and a stupid new tag stuck to my new address!!

How can I get rid of my spammed old account and have the gamertag I didnt ask for removed from my new account please.

I refuse to believe for one second it will be a difficult process for microsoft :/

My icon for outlook and Hotmail has disappeared from my computer screen.  How can I reinstate it?  I cannot access my account.

incompatible video files in movie maker

Hi, I am trying to make a slide show in Windows movie maker of videos and slides I took on holiday on my Samsung galaxy s3 mobile. 

 

I have been working on it for days and just noticed that some of the videos play fine but others say they are incompatible / corrupt. 

 

 I went on google+ where all my videos are backed up, checked one of the problem ones played and it did.  Downloaded and inserted this one and the same thing happened.  Then I tried downloading some free software to convert it to .wmv and the same thing still happens, just says error 0x8007000E. 

 I don't understand why some work and some don't when they are from the same source?

Why can't I block these ads and where are they coming from?  There is a different IP address every day.  I have tried all kinds of methods to try to get around this crafty advertisement agency.  Please help!!!!

Emails are missing

All the my email in my inbox are missing, however my sent emails are still there. Can someone please help, I have very important emails.

Dear friends in the community:

A hacked account with a hacker that is still hacking away and harming people.  Once entered, the hacker changed both alternate email and phone number.  It has now been 1 month and things have not changed. The account has emails that are very important for business work ( development work in Africa).  If moderators know a way that I can get back in and get these it would be a life saver.  I tried to use the verification process but the information that is completed never reaches Microsoft.  The response is that 2 step security has been turned on, and so information is not accepted.
Hoping for a response.

Hotmail account I have had for 10 years was hacked July 19th, 2013
Security details were all changed - alternate email, phone 
First effort to prove identity was approved July 22nd but then Microsoft said I must wait a month to have access?  Why, I don't know?
Tried entry again on August 21st, but no access.
Hacker has robbed contacts of more than $10,000 using my identity.

So far messages from community is that I have lost the account and all the related saved emails. Is this the case?

Cannot send email with attachment

I am having this problem to, I type out my email via outlook then attached a photo file to send when I
click send I get the same message as above. I am able to send a link to view the picture but cannot send email with attachment.
 

when I sign in it says account does not exist??? please help

Hi, every time I try to sign in to my hotmail account it says account does not exist.  Even when micro soft support send me links!  There must be a awy. Can anyone please help??????
