Can I use Sky Drive for Outlook like I do for Word?

From my profile, I try to add an alias (my name @outlook.com). I am told "This email address is already taken" That is true. It is mine. 
Resetting the password, I follow the email link, and reset successfully, but I still can't figure out how to add it to my profile.
Trying to send an email to the address, it bounces back, saying: 

Action: failed
Status: 5.5.0
Diagnostic-Code: smtp;550 Requested action not taken: mailbox unavailable

Please advise. How can I claim and use this address?

Accounts hacked!  Please close all associated emails.  I have followed all prompts and still cannot close these accounts!  Does anyone know how or who to contact for answers?

Attachments won’t allow just one document. What is problem?

I am frustrated on trying to send a two page document via attachment, but outlook indicates that one page document is too big to send.???? What is problem and what can I do to correct this so that I can do a simple task of sending a two page document? Someone please help!

All my most recent emails in my inbox have disappeared from the last 5 years.

My email account was working fine today, then suddenly I lost all my emails from today going back to 2008.  I have tried to retrieve the deleted emails in case I deleted them by mistake but they are not there.  Help please.

Spam emails making it past filters into Inbox

I have spam from *** Email address is removed for privacy *** getting through my exclusive filter. The mail has the 'Show Content' and 'Mark as Safe' links like when you see something in the Junk mail folder but is erroneously in the Inbox. I've confirmed that the email address isn't in the safe senders or safe mailing lists so I don't know why it's getting through. I've even selected the 'Junk' and 'Block Sender and Delete Contact' option several times and still they get into my Inbox. This started this morning and I've had 4 break through the spam filter so far.

Why????

My Excel document is locked – is there a way to unlock it?

I loaded my Excel spreadsheet (from SkyDrive) to my home computer to take a look at it.  It locked it on SkyDrive.

I am now at my work computer (separate location) and want to edit the Excel spreadsheet, but when I try to open it, it says it's locked.  Is there some way I can unlock it now?

How do I back-up SkyDrive stub files with Windows 8.1 Sydrive not syncing?

Like some other people posting, my Windows 8.1 Beta SkyDrive is not syncing. I'm starting a new thread because I have a specific smaller issue related to that syncing issue that has me stuck.

 

My Windows 8.1 test machine hadn’t been syncing up to SkyDrive for about a week when I noticed. Before I start trying fixes, I need to copy all the un-synced files from this 8.1 machine's SkyDrive folder to a back-up.

 

Most of these files aren’t set to offline access so the files I have on the machine are stubs. When I start the process of backing up, Windows/SkyDrive attempts to go off to the SkyDrive cloud to pull the whole file (because only the stub is local) down to the back-up. But with SkyDrive not working, the download sticks at 0% progress for a many hours. The back-up process doesn’t work.

 

I can’t figure a way to get the added and changed files on this machine off, so that I don’t lose whatever non-synced changes I've made on that machine. Help much appreciated.

outlook asking me for a code when signed in today, dont know what code

As above, has anyone else been asked this...dont know what code they are talking about. Says have got 6 days, then what happens and where do i get the code from....Having recently lost my husband am in a sheer panic thinking I;m going to be without my e-mail.
