I published a calendar from Outlook to office.microsoft.com; a feature in Outlook 2010. I then subscribe from calendars.office.microsoft.com to my calendar in Outlook.com (Live.com). Calendar refreshes can take weeks if they ever get refreshed at all.

If I go into Outlook.com and re-subscribe, I continue to get the same results; it won’t refresh.  I do get different results based on whether http or https is used (it converts the webcal and webcals to http and https respectively). The http result has many missing items; perhaps because it is an older version. It seems as though it’s a caching problem or a connection problem.

All changes made in Outlook do in fact get published to office.microsoft.com as is verified in a Google Calendar subscription which does not have the same issue.

Hello. I'm running Windows 8, Office 2013, and the Skydrive desktop app. I am completely unable to upload any Office files whatsoever. I've tried opening Word, creating a test document and saving directly to SkyDrive from within word. When I do it that way, I see the "Uploading to Skydrive" progress bar in the bottom right corner for about 10 seconds, then it says "Upload Failed. We're sorry this didn't work. Try saving again later and if that still doesn't work, click "Save a Copy". Out of desperation, I saved the file to my desktop, then opened my SkyDrive folder from the desktop application (I've also tried opening it directly from Windows Explorer as well). I dragged the file into my SkyDrive folder, which started the synchronization process. Unfortunately, the process failed again. A balloon message popped up from the system tray and said "Failed to Upload File". The only way I can get a docx or xlsx file into skydrive is by opening the skydrive website and uploading it through the site. The odd thing is that all other file types work. When I drag in photos or text files or any other kind of file, it uploads successfully. This issue has been happening for the last three weeks. I've been patiently waiting and trying again because I thought it might be an intermittent problem that would resolve itself (it started happening right around the same time that Microsoft was having trouble with its Hotmail/LiveMail sync), but no such luck. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Suddenly I've lost the ability to download any sort of attachments with my Hotmail account.

I've tried 3 Macs using Snow Leopard and Lion, on wireless and wired connections - as well as a PC on a different internet connection.

Have tried Safari & Firefox on the Macs and IE on the PC.

I can view the attachments using "online view" but if I try to download from there I get a message from my browser saying  "You have asked Firefox to connect securely to  dub126.afx.ms, but we can't confirm that your connection is secure."

If I try to download directly from my inbox there is no activity at all.

However, on a different Hotmail account I can download attachments - on the same computers / connections that were previously giving me issues.

So it would seem my particular Hotmail account is giving me issues rather than anything my side.

I have not changed any settings or system recently.

This is crippling my ability to work so I'm a bit desperate...!

I would like to forward a whole folder of emails, 27 in all.  How can I do this?
Hi

One of my accounts has stopped allowing me to save attachments. It will allow me to view it in the webapp. If I click the attachment a banner comes up at the bottom of IE 10 saying "internet has blocked this content due to security certificate error" or something very similar. I have tried another hotmail account and that is fine. I have tried accessing the outlook account on another computer with IE 11 and this initially came up with a error message saying advanced security was stopping silverlight from running and that i could stop running etc. I selected to not run and it comes up with the same error message about an invalid security certificate.

Please help.

Kind Regards

M
hotmail will not let me reset password.  have tried all the options/security questions and none are correct or what he had input.  i tried the last option and it said it coukd not send me the info requested due to my location (guam).  this has been going on for 2 weeks!!  i need access to the account.  can you go in and manually change the password so we can get back into it.  Also it is not linked to any x-box live accounts or anything just straight hotmail only.
My hotmail account *** Email address is removed for privacy *** has been hacked and the hackers has been sending e-mail from my account demanding money on my behalf.

They have changed the password, security questions, etc rendering me helpless. I have tried to recover my account from recovery but due insufficient information the same cannot be recovered.

This e-mail id I have been using for more than 15 years and it was was official e-mail as all the communication was coming to this e-mail officially and from friends, now I feel helpless as no support coming through.

Please help me in recovering my account and I will be grateful to you, also please provide me any contact support of Hotmail/ outlook so that I can contact them directly.

Thanks,
Roopesh Sadhana

Since the 16th or 17th August 2013 I have a log in problem with my (dutch) Outlook/ Hotmail account.
First I thought it was a mobile synchronize problem but after log in on a desktop then the message appear
"that probably someone else is using the account."
I've read that, See http://t.co/H4CWkhIsUX Sunday the 18th after this message, what probably was the basis for the problem.

Then tried to restore/ recover the account and filled in the recovery forms several times this past week but after the first received a notification that MS is investigating was with no result... Searched contact by Twitter and they pointed me to this site...
I did put this question under http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windowslive/forum/liveid-wlsecurity/unable-to-access-account/b2f67520-54cc-4180-b1cb-f5b004836cf4 but after half a week a confirmation from Twitter MS Support that it probably is in a wrong forum??
I put it under Security and Permissions but now I choose than Profile and account details.

This morning the 27th, so 10 days later, I received a message that after this several times trying to recover it wasn't possible to gain
a recovery access and I have to make an new account....???
This is an advise which i.m.o. is not the solution. We can do better than that...

I suggested also already that MS should call me to indentify me as the real owner but this wasn't possible with this "free" account type.

So hereby again an urgent request for help to let me use and recover my MS mail account again after more than 12 years using it.

Thank you !!

I am having issues setting up my POP (@shaw.ca) email account using Outlook 2013. I have been using Outlook.com and it was working perfectly, but I recently purchased Office 2013 and wanted to use Outlook 2013 instead of webmail. However when I enter the details for my account in manual setup I am getting the following errors when sending the test email:

Log onto incoming mail server (POP3): Your e-mail server rejected your login. Verify your user name and password for this account in Account Settings.  The server responded: -ERR invalid username/password

Send test e-mail message: Outlook cannot connect to your outgoing (SMTP) e-mail server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).

I know that this appears to be a credential-related issue but I assure you that the credentials are correct. I have double and triple checked my server settings and am following them exactly.

Following these problems, I tried to use Outlook.com again, and now I am unable to send or receive emails from there as well. Not seeing any error messages, but there are emails that I should definitely have in my inbox that are not loading. Also, when I try to send an email it appears to have worked properly (message shows in the Sent folder with no errors) but the recipients have confirmed that they are not getting anything from me.

I tried to use my phone as a last resort (outlook app on android) and nothing is working there either. No errors, just not loading new messages or sending anything.

This has been ongoing for days now, and needless to say, it is a huge priority for me to get this up and running again, one way or the other. I would greatly appreciate any support you can offer.

Thanks
