My problem is with my small laptop and not with a phone, so think there must be some misunderstanding

   Previous question locked, so sending another.
   I TRIED to connect to the "contact support" area and got a run-around.  FIRST, it said nothing found for my issue ("can't get security code"), then it gave answers related ONLY to television stuff, and LASTLY, it related to fixing/updating my computer with the new WINDOWS stuff!!
 EVERYTHING I have tried has failed to produce a real answer and fix!
  I am NOT on a Dell, HP, etc.  I am using an APPLE Mac with Firefox.   I even tried to reset all there and exactly the same results: NO code sent to YAHOO alternate e-mail!   I NEED a one-on-one assist, otherwise I am most likely locked out of MSN/Outlook e-mail after tomorrow.


I NEVER EVER HAD THESE ISSUES WITH HOTMAIL!  NON-STOP ISSUES SINCE WENT TO OUTLOOK.

  I am so angry and frustrated that all I want to do now is trash the entire MSN cr@p forever....

password problem

i forgot the password to my email account *** Email address is removed for privacy *** this is a problem as all my important documents are in there. i have tried all the reset option that are available to me, is there any way you can email the rest link to *** Email address is removed for privacy ***?  

Default calendar reminders are removed

Since an update some time ago it stopped being possible to set calendar email reminders through any client except outlook.com. All other clients (I also use Windows Live Mail and Windows Phone as a client) seem only able to set "Calendar on your PC or mobile phone" reminders. As I want email reminders I set up a default email reminder setting on the calendar itself.

 

My problem is that it is quite common for the default email reminder setting on the calendar to be "forgotten" by the system. This seems to happen every few months. I will go to outlook.com and find that the email reminders I expect on new events are in fact missing and it is because the setting on the calendar has been removed.

 

Is there some reason that this setting periodically gets removed? Is there a way to stop this from happening?

after logging on – no mail box

I changed my paswsword recently on hotmail.com.  After changing the password I can no longer get to the mail box.  The only page that opens after logging into the mail box is the page where I can change my mail settings.  There is no button to go to the mail box.  Would someone be so kind as to direct me how to get mz mail box back? I have tried several time to close log out and restart the computer. Every time I get back to my settings page.

Dear Sir,

My mail account *** Email address is removed for privacy *** had got hacked into towards the end of August and again about 2 days back.  Subsequently on trying to access my account I have found that it has been blocked.  I had filled up the forms with as many details as I have been able to recall but unfortunately, you were unable to verify my ownership of this account using the information provided by me.  My issue numbers are 99172092 and 99299814.  
I have had this account since over two decades, so obviously I do not remember the initial passwords used by me.  
I request you to please kindly look into the issue and help resolve this problem at the earliest.
I would like to state here that most of my mails sent in the recent past were without the subject line barring a couple which I have already stated in my form.
Once again requesting for urgent action.

I try to attach a file and  internet explore just shuts down not sure why. I can send regular email but no attachments
