I had an email for my whole teen years, something weird happened and I all of a sudden couldn't get in. Well I need in!
I go to change password and it says it doesn't exist. Its really frustrating!!
So here is the deal.
I have been getting warnings about needing a code that Outlook sends to one of our other personal e-mail accounts as a security measure. However, that code has not been sent to the other e-mail account - we checked junk/trash/etc. - and today we have
a message that we won't be able to access our Outlook account without those codes - any ideas?

Someone please help... I do not use the outlook/hotmail a ton, I do most of my emails from my blackberry, which is still everyday. Anyways, I have recently noticed that I am missing a two month gap of emails in my inbox, from June through the beginning of August and the entire month of May. I need to access some of those emails, and have tried searching my account by sender etc. I am not sure if they may have been archived, or whatever, but don't know where to look. I ensure that the view is "view all" and even looked through my folders. Can someone please provide me some direction on how to get these emails back. I have reviewed the other posts in the community but none seem to help my situation. I've tried a few of the solutions provided. When I tried recovering my deleted's, they same gap in history is missing. Thanks!

I have been successfully using Skydrive on my home and work pcs for a few months now, but a week or so ago, something seems to have spontaneously broken on my home machine. More precisely, on that computer, the SkyDrive tray icon always reports being up to date and the "last updated" time changes normally, but no new or modified files are ever being synced, despite showing the "blue spinning arrows" when seen in explorer. I can confirm that these files are not being uploaded to the web skydrive app, nor to my work pc. Conversely, files created on my work computer are being normally uploaded to the cloud, but do not get automatically downloaded to my home computer.
However, if I exit (tray icon > exit) skydrive and launch it again, suddenly all "stuck" files get properly uploaded/downloaded to my home pc. This seems to indicate that upon starting, SkyDrive "manually" checks for modified files and uploads them, in order to ensure consistency with the cloud versions, yet afterwards, it relies on some kind of hook into explorer to be advised of modifications? Anyway, if that's the case, then that hook is broken somehow.
Other info:
I never received any error message whatsoever.
I did not do any changes to my system configuration around or since the time the problem appeared.
I tried rebooting and re-installing skydrive, both to no avail.
I checked on this forum and saw other people having the same problem, with no working solution.
The "view sync problems" option is greyed out.
I have admistrator permissions (but using UAC).
Using complete (not selective) sync on both pcs.
I tried disabling "upload files in batches", but there was no change.
I'm starting to lose hair over this.

Locked out of email account created 9 years ago because apparently some one has tried to access my account but i can not remember all of the security questions etc is there anything i can do?
I was changing over from browser mail to Windows Live Mail.
It appeared to work ok but then I see that I have lost many emails from my inbox.
Please can you recover as much as you can - this occurred around 1840 BST 29 Aug.

I recently created and deleted an email address in Windows Live Admin Center... I now need to recreate the email address, but am getting the following message:
The requested account name is already in use or was used in the past and has not been through the required waiting period to re-use.
I do not have time to wait 30 days... I need to be able to create the email account now. This is somewhat urgent... please help!

Hi,I recently bought a Lumia 925 and until now I have been troubled by SkyDrive.
What happens is that,whenever I sign in for Microsoft Account,SkyDrive auto downloads
photos to phones Album section without my authority.Am not comfortable with this
since anyone who get hold of my phone can see those SkyDrive photos intended to be
private.Please help am unable to enjoy this phone with such complications.
Where do I find the setting to change the folders that skydrive will sync locally?
I see this during installation but not afterwards. I can't believe this is by design, but can't find how to change the sync folder settings.
