Documents that have been deleted are still trying to sync

Hi, hoping someone can help.

My Skydrive account can't sync to my computer because one of the files is longer than 255 characters. Every time I try to set up Skydrive on my computer and start sync it gets to this file and then just shuts down.

'Ok,' I think. 'I'll just delete that folder. Not like I need it anyway.' I then proceed to delete the folder the file was in (so in the pic, everything after the 'stage 2' folder. I've deleted it from my computer, my skydrive account and also cleared my skydrive recycle bin.

The problem is, Skydrive still somehow seems to be finding the file and trying to sync it, even though it doesn't exist anymore. This then brings up the 255 char error and prevents me from syncing Skydrive with my computer...

How do I remove the MSN link bar above Outlook.com?

When logged into outlook.com I have a MSN.com link above the outlook bar I want to remove.

It is there for mail, people, and skydrive, but not for Calendar. 

Needless to say it is ruining my experience as out of all the products I use, MSN is not one of them. Please assist me in removing this.


Problem with Credit Card on Microsoft Store. Please help!!

Hi,
I've been having a lot of issues trying to purchase stuff on Microsoft Store. It started after I pre-ordered the Xbox One back in late August. I tried pre-ordering Battlefield 4 on 9/3, but it gave me an error saying to close my browser and try again. I tried this across IE and Firefox multiple times, but to no avail.

When I called a store and asked if they could order for me, they said they encountered an error saying "Contact your financial institution." Furthermore, when I try to edit or add another completely different credit card, I get another error:

We can't authorize the payment method. Please make sure the information is correct, or use another payment method. If you continue to get this message, please contact your financial institution.

I have contacted them, and they said that Visa approved the $0.00 pre-order each time. However, I received no confirmation from Microsoft or any indication that it went through. I can, actually, buy songs from Xbox Music still with no problem.

At the moment, I don't have the money to cover my Xbox One pre-order. I wouldn't think that would not allow me to add another credit card, but I can't either way. I tried making a new account and adding the original credit card, but that did not work. It did, however, accept the second credit card. For some strange reason, it still won't let me buy anything on the other account.

I've been in contact with a lot of people, but no one seems to know what to do. Help would be GREATLY appreciated. If I could get this fixed before November, that'd be awesome.

Someone hacked my account and deleted every mail and contacts. I have already recovered my contacts but how to recover my emails?

Dear,

My email address was hacked and everything was deleted. I have been able to discover my contacts but the emails are not getting recovered even after going in the deleted folder and clicking on restore deleted messages. I have also tried going to the deleted folder and tried recovering my emails but i didn't get any email backs.

Kindly help me out as i have some important data. For the record the emails were deleted 2 days ago. Which means i still have that window of 5 days right?

Hello,

I am having the same "parental permission problem." When I changed my password today, I found out the age in my profile is wrong. Just for the fun of it, I change it to 2013, thinking it will not impact my account (At facebook, some people put their age like 100 years old, it will not affect a thing). Then found out I am blocked out of my account since now, I need "parental permission." My mom does not live in US, and has not credit card, to show that she "allows" me to have this email account, I will have to

1) create an email for her
2) apply for a credit card to show her age.

That is a big hassle for me.

I have to create a new hotmail account just to post a help here. I need to get the old email account back since I have been using it daily for many years. Can someone help?

Everytime I receive an e-mail I receive a pop up of the e-mail in the upper right hand corner of my screen along with a ding.

Purchase Win 8 Store apps with MS Account?

I got a notice my MS account was updated and the 240 points I had was converted to 3 bucks. I was gifted a couple MS 1600 points cards and added them to my account via XBOX console. I now have no points but my account shows over $46.xx. I knew this was going to happen with the updates to Xbox and XBL and its not my concern.

 

I have a Windows Phone 8, Surface, and Win 8 PC.  Since this update I noticed my Wallet app in the phone shows the $46.xx as does my xbox. With that said, I haven't noticed an update with the Windows 8 Store. It doesn't seem that I can use these funds to purchase apps, although I can purchase phone apps.

 

Is this truly the way it works now or am I missing something?

Error code 554 Transaction failed

My e-mails were not sent to any of my customers and I received the message "554 Transaction failed - possible abuse" .  Then it tells me to contact my provider (ATT) and they did not know what this meant without charging me $200.  Any suggestions?

Why doesn’t my profile picture or my friends profile pictures show in the e-mail?

I love the fact that you can have a profile picture that is sent with the e-mail. But every time I send a message out or someone sends a message to me, there is no picture. It is just the picture of the default white outline of a man with the gray background.  We are not friends on facebook so I understand why their or my facebook profile does not show but our outlook profile picture should show right? We are contact so that is not the problem... I tried everything I could think of so I thought you may know how to fix it. Thanks for your help!
