this is so infuriating as i am on a brand new mac and my hotmail worked fine there was not need to automatically upgrade me to a horrible email system that has cost me tons of money and loss of jobs. I am very unhappy with this service and need help fixing

I just created a Microsoft account, and have some questions regarding the email.
Is the email @outlook.com a free email service?
Is it accessible like aol email? I currently use aol, but only for email and would like to get rid of it. Can I use an outlook email address the same way?
If so, how do I create an email account with Microsoft?

I get the error message "That Microsoft account doesn't exist. Enter a different email address or get a new account." when I try to login with an alias. I see many threads suggesting that it is not possible to login with an alias. But it is mentioned that "You can sign in to your account with any alias—they all use the same
password. " in http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/outlook/add-alias-account . Shouldn't I be able to sign-in with my alias?
I do not want a profile picture. I have eddited my profile and currently it has no picture. When I am in my outlook inbox or writing an email there is no picture, just as I want. However, whenever I go in to my 'sent' emails they all display the picture
from my facebook account on my profile. As my outlook profile has no picture there seems to be no way for me to remove this? Can someone please tell me how to unlink my facebook from outlook (I do not recall ever linking them so not sure how it happened) and
how to make sure that the emails I send do not have any picture for me? Thank you in advance.

No emails have appeared in my outlook.com since May, not even when I refresh, log out and back in again, close my laptop and re-open, use a different laptop. I've now exhausted my search of help topics. where do I go from here?
For information I have no problem logging in to my account. I can still open all my history mails prior to May 2013.

I have used face recognition and tag persons on all my photos. One person asked me to make copy for him of photos into two separate folders:
a) first folder were only this person is present (there is no other persons with taged faces on that photos)
b) second folder were all photos of this person will be stored (other persons wit tged faces might be present)
Is it possible to do it in Windows Photo Gallery? Or maybe some other program might be used for that (e.g. Windows Explorer)?
