When I sign in to my outlook account I receive the following message:

Something went wrong and we can't sign in right now.  Please try again later.

If I change user accounts, I can sign in to outlook without any problem.

Hello,
Since last night, I am getting a Delivery Status Notification (Delay) message back from every email I send from Outlook.com - via the web.  When I send the email from my WP8 everything goes right through.

Yes, the email accounts are valid - the same email message that is delayed in Outlook.com, can be forwarded to the same recipient via the WP8 and it goes right through.  This is happening in Outlook.com whether on a public internet, or while using my WP8 as a hotspot.

The status.live.com shows no issues.

Any support is appreciated.

Regards,
Ed

I am so upset with this new update I had to do with my account. When I tried to sign into my email account I could not because I was told I needed a new password or code (which I actually already got the day before). So after many tries of not being able to get into my email account, I did finally change my password....and was able to get into my account. But....and this is the maddening thing.....all my old emails are gone! What happened to them? I want and need them back!

Ever since Hotmail switched to Outlook I have been having technical issues with it.
Recently, I sent a couple of emails to a friend of mine, and for some bizarre reason they were delivered to a different, and completely unknown to me email address.
Strangely enough, the person who received my emails, happens to know my friend, and forwarded the emails to her, but the point is that this should not be happening. When I send an email to someone, I expect them to receive that email; I certainly don't want it to go to a complete stranger.

Also, I noticed that messages from two completely unrelated people are often linked together in one chain. Again, this shouldn't be happening.

Why is this happening, and how can I go on trusting Hotmail/Outlook with my account when such grave mistakes occur?

I have a Hotmail address (which MS has now changed to Outlook account, although I still sign-in with Hotmail address). I used aliases. I receive junk mail in my junk mail folder. How can I know which, if any, of the junk mail is being sent to my alias addresses? Other than opening a junk email and looking at the header info and seeing which address it was sent to?

When I am preparing an email message, to which I plan to attach a file that is stored on my hard drive (in My Docs for example), I find that if go to or have previously gone to the FOLDER first (during the email session - but before attempting to attach the doc/file) to preview the file/doc, when I return to the email message and attempt to attach the doc/file, the FOLDER is no longer listed among the items in My Docs.  I can see other FOLDERS that are still listed in My Docs.  However, I also cannot find other FOLDERS which 'disappeared' when I've tried to attach docs from FOLDERS during various other emails that I've previously composed.  However, If / when I go out of email and go directly to my library and open My Docs, ALL of the FOLDERs are still listed.  But when I return to the email message and attempt to find the folder & attach docs, the folder is not listed !??  So therefore, because I cannot find the folder, I cannot access any docs/files within the folder.

In order to get around this, I have to 1) come back out of Outlook, 2) go directly to my library & My Docs, 3) open the FOLDER, 3) copy and paste the doc/file that I want to attach, so that it is listed as a single file/doc (not contained within a FOLDER), 4) go back to the email and then access and attach the file/doc from My Docs.  I DID NOT EXPERIENCE THIS PROBLEM BEFORE THE RECENT HOTMAIL UPGRADE TO THE CURRENT OUTLOOK FORMAT.  I need help to understand why this is happening and where the folders are disappearing to and/or how do I access the folders directly through the Outlook attachment/insertion function.

THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOU HELP :)

Where do Archive Emails go ?
I am also having troubles with my account being attacked and attacked GOOD, they changed EVERYTHING and I need a human representative to look at it as this auto-response nonsense has locked me out for good! But like the person above, I would rather my account be deactivated and either use this new account or whatever, but I have some VERY personal issues on that old one and would like to recover it, if possible, but I need a human and NOT a bot to look into this issue for me please! My email was hacked on the 1st of September of this year and is *** Email address is removed for privacy ***.  Someone PLEASE help!
It has been a week now and I can't access my outlook/hotmail account.  I have tried everything and I have spoken with Microsoft support employees and it still not working .  Can someone please help me with this issue?
