I accidentally clicked Work Offline in Windows Live Mail and now it won't go back online to stay. It keeps giving me "There was an error when attempting to connect to the Windows Live Calendar service. If the error persists, check to see if there's an upgrade of Windows Live Mail available or contact a service representative."

I've checked and there is no newer WLM version

Windows Live Mail is displaying all messages in all folders as an attachment rather than showing the message itself. In order to view the message text, you have to open the attachment. It is also forwarding replies to messages as an attachment.

Original title: windows live mail

windows live mail displayed o.k. using windows 7. With windows 8, the e-mail display is too far to the right - losing part of e-mail detail.

Unable to locate the e-mail display to the left where it should be. How do I correct?

original title: live mail deleted messages

Hello,

I have two accounts set up to be received through WL Mail.  One account is a Hotmail account, the other is not.  The Hotmail account is working perfectly.  In regards to the other account, when I delete a message, instead of going to the deleted items/trash folder, it just disappears completely.  I deleted a message by mistake, and cannot find it anywhere.  Usually if this happens with my Hotmail account, I would just go to the deleted items folder and restore the message, but it's just not there.  This is my business account, and I need that email back.  Please help!

Thank you.

Earlier today I received an email and I read it, but later Live Mail couldn't display the email anymore. I get this error message:

Message cannot be found The contents of this message cannot be found.

I have it setup so that my emails stay on my email server for 7 days before Live mail deletes them. So I did go to my email server and found the email there. I tried to find a way to get Live Mail to retrieve that email again. I tried marking it as unread, then marked it as flagged - neither of these worked.

So how can I get Live mail to download that email again? I was able to forward it to another of my email addresses and I have it, but now it's listed as an email from me, instead of an email from my client. So in the future I won't be able to find that email if I sort my old emails by the client's name.

I know if I delete that email account it will then download all the emails on my server, but that sure is a time consuming way to do this. I wouldn't mind if I could trick it into downloading all the emails on my email server. What other solutions are there?

Hello,

I am successfully able to backup my email messages onto my Desktop in its own folder.  The problem comes when I try to copy/move the files or folders to a flash drive (I have tried two different flash drives).  The error message goes:

"The file [filename.eml] has extra information attached to it that might be lost if you continue copying.  The contents of the file will not be affected.  Information that might be lost includes ":OEStandardProperty:$DATA".

I've scoured the internet, but haven't found any information about this error.  If anyone can explain what this means and more importantly, how I can copy the messages without losing any data, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you for your time.  All the Best.

Original title: Delta Sync Issue

Unable to add and outlook.com to Windows Live Mail 2012. I was getting delta sync issues before. Ran through the troubleshooting steps of adding and removing account. Reinstalling Windows Live 2012. I have gotten to the point where I have rebuilt the Windows 7 from scratch and just installed Windows Live Mail and still unable to do a send/receive to look at outlook.com emails. I was able to receive email via the account a month ago. I am able to sign into the web interface of outlook.com. Any suggestions?
