Windows Live Mail Version 2012 (Build 16.4.3508.0205)

On Windows7 PRO 64 bit with IE10

When I attach (not copy and paste, but attach) a simple .html file to a mail message and send the message WITHOUT changing message format (i.e. using Rich Text HTML)  everything works ok.

But when i do the same thing (same .html attachment), but prior sending mail i convert message format to PLAIN TEXT, the attachment HTML code gets screwed.

When you open the .html attachment in your sent items folder or when you look at it on the computer of the recipient it seems that Windows Live Mail has cut the HTML/CSS lines inside the attachment, it basically adds new lines in the middle of the HTML/CSS code.

You can test this by:

1. opening the message you just sent in your sent items folder

2. save the .html attachment on your desktop

3. open the .html file with Notepad, you will se that long lines have been cut by adding new lines in the middle, obviously when you view the .html file with the browser is all screwed, because a tag like </h1> might get cut like: </h + new line + 1>

FYI: with old Outllok Express I always sent PLAIN TEXT messages with .html attachments and they have never been screwed up.

When Microsoft email changed to outlook, I lost my email account.  I have since been unable to log in as it says my account
belongs to someone - but, if it is me why can I not log in.  I had the account for some years before the changeover, and it was a co.uk account.

Please advise, because it seems possible someone else is masquerading as me.  If this is not the case perhaps someone could explain to me
exactly what is happening and why I cannot log in.  I am currently using gmail as my email, but would prefer (as everyone knows me by the other address), to use this.

Clearly as this message will appear in the forum I am not going to put my full email address (as was) and would appreciate a personal
contact or instructions to re-possess my account.
Many thanks
Sylvia

I was asked to change my password by microsoft as they believed someone (not me) had tried to access it, so I followed the instruccions and now I have been without emails for 3 days due to                                                                                                                                                    Unable to send or receive messages for the Hotmail (antoniopedrajas1) account.

Server Error: 5102
Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE20003

can anyone fix this as I have tried everything the forums suggest to no avail

I'm running under Windows 7.

All of a sudden, Hotmail is not loading my Inbox with new e-mails.

My other PC under Windows XP is OK.  My Android phone is OK.  What I have to do is delete my new e-mails on my Android, and then transfer my trash to my inbox on my system 7 machine.

There gotta be a better way.

Hi,

I'm trying to setup a firewall rule exception for my users who are using mail clients that connect to 'pop3.live.com' and require the IP address range(s) associated with the pop3 address.

Is that something that can be supplied?

Thanks

Original Title: Move mails to another outlook.com account

Hi all,

All is in the title. I manage 2 outlook.com accounts and I wonder how to move all messages from one account to the other.

Any help or idea would be helpfull.

Thanks in advance.

When we receive reports via email from our payroll company, we receive the email but the attachments are hidden. There is no paperclip icon, and there are no placeholders or any other indication that there is an attachment. I can tell from the file size that the attachments was included in the email.

When the same email is sent to my other work email (XP & Outlook Express) or my personal email (Win7 Pro & WLM) i receive the emails with the attachments.

The sender is using Outlook, i'm not sure what version.

• I have tried to forward the email from the payroll company to my email and that did not show the attachment.

• When i receive the email on my OE account, and i forward it, the email shows up with all the attchments like it should.

• We are able to receive .pdf .xls and other attachments from other people. We even have some luck with sometimes getting a test .pdf from the payroll company to come thru.

I have upgraded to WLM 2011 Version 2011 (Build 15.4.3555.0308). The attachments are .pdf files, so i made sure Adobe Reader XI is up to date (Version 11.0.3). The OS on the system is Windows 7 Professional (Build 7601 Service Pack 1) with all critical Windows Updates installed. I have Microsoft Security Essentials running, and no other Anti Virus software. The sender & domain are on the safe sender list, and i unchecked the appropriate boxes in the security tab.

I have spoken to the person sending the reports, and she says they are being sent in HTML format.

I think the problem lies in the way they are being sent, but i can't narrow down what it could be.

Any help or advise is appreciated.
