Windows Live Mail Version 2012 (Build 16.4.3508.0205)

On Windows7 PRO 64 bit with IE10

When I attach (not copy and paste, but attach) a simple .html file to a mail message and send the message WITHOUT changing message format (i.e. using Rich Text HTML)  everything works ok.

But when i do the same thing (same .html attachment), but prior sending mail i convert message format to PLAIN TEXT, the attachment HTML code gets screwed.

When you open the .html attachment in your sent items folder or when you look at it on the computer of the recipient it seems that Windows Live Mail has cut the HTML/CSS lines inside the attachment, it basically adds new lines in the middle of the HTML/CSS code.

You can test this by:

1. opening the message you just sent in your sent items folder

2. save the .html attachment on your desktop

3. open the .html file with Notepad, you will se that long lines have been cut by adding new lines in the middle, obviously when you view the .html file with the browser is all screwed, because a tag like </h1> might get cut like: </h + new line + 1>

FYI: with old Outllok Express I always sent PLAIN TEXT messages with .html attachments and they have never been screwed up.

I'm using WLM in Win7Professional.   Frequently an e-mail header displays in the list pane,  but the associated contents of a selected message have been reduced to a .txt or .html attachment.  Have tried different settings in the reading pane,  but 9 times out of 10 the contents of a given message are not displayed,  and can't be accessed when you try to open that message.  Any suggestions?
