Why are the messages in my Trash bin disappearing? Does Hotmail automatically empty my Trash bin? I don't want that to be happening because sometimes I need to go back in my Trash to retrieve something. Sometimes I delete something by mistake and don't realize it till weeks later. Then it's too late to retrieve it back from Trash because I think Hotmail empties it out automatically! How can I change that? Is there a setting to prevent automatic emptying??

I am trying to change from POP to IMAP, but do not know if I can do this or not.  If I can receive IMAP how do I do it.

Thanks

thomas

I had thousands of emails going back years and they have all been deleted bar 91 of the most resent. This isn't the first time as this happened a few months ago as well.

- I haven't deleted all those emails on my phone
- I really need access to a specific email
- I have one email from 2007 out of my 91
- Some of the contacts pop up in search when I look for old emails

Please help me, you're my only hope.

Is it possible to print a saved draft email in Windows Live Mail? And, if it is, how do I do it?

Is there an upgrade for windows live mail in Windows 7 Home Premium?
It started that i could not collect my email and a few calls later to my ISP proved it was my client ( Microsoft Live Mail ). I deleted the connection and remade it and no help. I unistalled MLM and still no help i ran many Microsoft FIX tools and NOTHINGS helped. I have since tried to totally uninstall Microsoft Live mail ( Microsoft live essentials ) and it still holds all the ISP connect info and there for the corrution that wont let me connect to my email.

I NEED a way to completely uninstall Microsoft Live Essentials  ( Live Mail ) and all its traces and folders and any saved info it keeps to COMPLETELY get a real fresh start .    How do i get all traces of Microsoft Live Essentials ( and its sub products) to be completely erased ?

Thanks in Advance
Al

Yet another example of how Microsoft is going backwards in functionality and stability.  Rather than improving a system that worked in spite of a few flaws, they decided to completely redesign everything to make the GUI horrible to look at, the workflow more convoluted than before, and add several new stability issues to the original flaws, which BTW still exist.

Having said that, is there any way to recover Hotmail (Outlook, whatever) after designating an email as Junk?  Whenever I click the "Junk" button, the email is moved into the Junk folder, as it should, and the screen returns to the Inbox list, which is fine.  But from that point on in the session, clicking on an email does NOT open the email.  It marks it as "Read", but does not actually show it.  This is obviously due to a linkage error in the code, which is part of the complaint in the first paragraph.  So many "features" were added by unskilled programmers who do not follow up on how their feature case effects the rest of the system.

Apparently the only way to resolve this issue is to close Internet Explorer and log back in.  It's bad enough that I now hove to log off and log back in for each of my email addresses (again going back to the notion of Microsoft software going backwards in functionality and stability), but I also have to shutdown Internet Explorer and restart, then log back in every time I designate an email as "Junk".  And with all of the junk that Hotmail allows slip through, that's a lot of wasted effort.  But I guess Microsoft knows a lot about that subject.

The irony is, as someone here at work showed me, this issue doesn't occur in Chrome.   Hmm.  So this is an Internet Explorer issue?  Well maybe I should be blaming the company that makes Internet Explo-    oooooh, that's right.  It's the same company.  Interesting how Microsoft can't even make stable software that works with OTHER software which they make themselves!  Looks like Google at least knows how to make stable software.   Perhaps I should just make a gmail account.

Hi there, I seem to have a problem with my customers not receiving my emails on their @hotmail email address. The emails are never received and the emails do not go into their spam folder either. I have also tried removing all signature images, etc from the emails and still nothing. Any suggestions? Thanks, Craig
