When I try to delete, it comes up with 'an unknown error has occurred'.  It pops up everytime I open Windows Live Mail, for months I've been trying to get rid of it.

How can I change the limit on addresses in group emails, does my ISP have a limit, I am with TalkTalk

The following message is displayed when I load Windows mail: C:\Windows.NET\Framework\v2.2.50727\could not be loaded.

I can receive messages, but not send any messages.

I have checked that Framework 3.5 functionnality is validated in Windows Configuration pannel.

Thanks for your answer.

I am trying to set up a business email on Windows Live, it has instructed me to add the following MX record:

  • DNS record type: MX
  • Host: healthyprice.ca
  • MX server: 4e557f70e1e765419c5a3a67b27491.pamx1.hotmail.com
  • TTL: 3600 or 1 hour
  • Priority: 10 (or High priority)

I've done this and can see it is being served by DNS:

$ dig healthlyprice.ca MX @dns1.stabletransit.com

; <<>> DiG 9.7.3 <<>> healthlyprice.ca MX @dns1.stabletransit.com

But when I click refresh it still doesn't let me continue the set up.  It just keeps saying "You need to prove ownership of this domain by creating a DNS record. Use the settings below."

I can't see what I have done wrong.  Any help would be much appreciated.

I am trying to determine why all my incoming e-mail messages have a [SPAM] designation on them as they are not spam.  I've looked through all the help and was unable to find any reference to this issue with Windows Live Mail.

Thanks,

I have been using my e-mail with no problem. Several hours ago, I realized that my e-mail were getting stuck in the Outbox.

I CAN receive e-mail... but can't send. I am talking about simple text messages. I also deleted them all and tried a test message.

I also restarted my computer with no results. I can send messages out of my gmail account fine.... but not through my

juno e-mail service.    Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Just tried again....

Operating system is Windows 7 Pro.  Default Browser is Firefox.

A few weeks ago, my Windows Live Mail lost the ability to copy hyperlinks from the body of the email.  After reading this board, I decided to remove IE 11 and revert to IE 10.  This solved that problem.

Now I have two NEW problems:

I have six accounts all forwarding to my Live Mail account... some hotmail, some gmail, etc.  One of my hotmail accounts is no longer forwarding.  All others are working fine.

I cannot print the body of the emails.

I have completed the steps necessary to "repair" Windows Live Essentials.  The two problems above persist.

Please help as the loss of functionality is crucial to the operation of my business!

Thank you!

Recently switched to windows live mail version 2012 in windows 8.1. Managed to add a new email address to my contacts but have been unable to delete old contact.. Highlighting old email address does not seem to produce menu including " delete". Thank you in advance for any suggestions.

I get the following message:

A time-out occurred while communicating with the server.

Subject 'Time out test'
Server: 'mobile.charter.net'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC19
Protocol: SMTP
Port: 587
Secure(SSL): Yes

The IMAP server at mobile.charter.net works OK. The SMTP server works fine with Thunderbird. It worked for several months with WLM until recently, the last couple weeks. It was failing at home where the ISP is Charter and away where the ISP is Comcast.

I'm ready to export all my local folders to Thunderbird and uninstall WLM. I tried uninstalling WLM, hiding its data that's in the AppData folder and reinstalling. It still times out.

I checked  other posts with the same problem from 2 or 3 years ago and there was never a possible solution.

I am getting following error when I try to use *** Email address is removed for privacy *** to open Microsoft Live ID on https://signup.live.com/

"This email address is part of a reserved domain such as live.com, hotmail.com, or msn.com. Please enter a different email address"

Any idea ?
