I have been told that compacting my deleted email messages in Windows Live Mail completely removes them from the computer.  Is this correct?  And, if so, why is the word "compacting" used when it doesn't mean removal .... only squshing them.
There is no uninstall for windows live mail. I have a toshiba with windows 7 and when I reply to a CL add or anything else, it goes there and never gets sent and then it keeps telling me  i have the wrong password. My boss has the same problem on his computer. what can I do?

My subfolders have disappeared from view in Windows Live.  They are still there with emails in them when I go through View and then Go to Folders.  How can I get them displayed as standard ?

Windows Live - after saving an email I CANNOT delete it. Was told to change security settings: right click on email, choose properties, choose security and change it from system to LIN. Even using Edit, it will not stay set to LIN so I can delete email. Can anyone help with that? And does anyone know another email program that is more useer friendly than Windows Live? I have found that I cannot get the answers I need easily. Their HELP section is extremely limited.

THANKS!

I have an unwanted windows live identical duplicate email address. How do I remove it?  Thanks SDX8

1: I need some emails which may have been deleted and removed over last 5 years. Any way to get this ? I can provide specific address or can be all 5 years.

2: I need to print out details of email showing origination pc, user, ip address etc to show as proof that email is no fake document for some of the saved email. How can you do this with hotmail?

Thanks
