Honest! I have followed the instructions line by line as given in Help for Live Mail for adding a picture (a logo saved as a JPeG) to my email. It all looks great when I design it. But when I select the signature I have designed (and saved as html) the
text arrives but the picture does not. There is a 'placeholder' for the picture with a little 'x', but no picture. When I test send it, a Live Mail pop-up appears saying it can't find the photo. This happens even when I design the signature with the text
and picture in the same file.
Is there a trick that is not included in the instructions?
Thanks,
Ken
Am using Live Mail at our Sr Center and SOMETIMES the recipients (in a group) don't receive these Emails if they are in the BCC and OTHER TIMES some receive it and some don't. . We are sending the Email to our self and in 'sent mail' we can see when it goes to NO ONE in BCC or a list where it skips some of the members. I created a new category yesterday and added the members again
thinking that there was some sort of a problem with the group.....nothing changed. It really doesn't matter the size of the group either....we tested with a group of 6 and also the larger group of 62 or so. We are getting NO return mail on any of this!
Do you have any ideas as to what is going on? Can Live Mail be corrupt? Should we remove the software and re-install?

How do I stop the windows live mail sign in box from appearing every time I open the program. It is defaulting to a hotmail program that I rarely use . This just began when the program self updated to the new Outlook, also I have never used Outlook so
it is not defaulting from another location.
I have created an .html signature from within WLM. However, when applying the signature to outgoing e-mails, the image will not appear.
I followed the instructions as provided by http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-live/mail-create-signature.
Instead, a blank white box shows up where the image should be -- and when sending the message -- I am warned (paraphrasing) "One or more if the pictures in this message could not be found. When sending the images will not be included. Are you sure you still
want to send?"
Does anyone have a solution to this? The picture I am using is a .png. However, I saved the signature file as a .html.
I've just lost an email that I've been working on for several hours. I accidentally came out of windows live mail. No alert message came up asking me if I wanted to save. I did not delete or save to drafts. I've checked deleted/spam/junk/sent folders without
success. is there anything I can do? I'm using windows live mail and windows 7
When i receive emails from Microsoft Account the language there are sent in Chinese i have checked the settings and my languages all say english and its just the microsoft emails that are sent in Chinese, any help on changing it?
Tried sending some pictures and they didn't send, got this error message and now cannot send, forward or anything in Windows Live Mail in Windows 7
Live Mail dialog box pops up saying that pictures I want to forward "cannot be found" and will not be sent - do I still want to send this message? What IS this ??? I am looking at the photo in the message I want to fwd, but Live Mail cannot find it?
There must be a fix for this idiocy - many of my emails are received without the pictures - recipients report. Thank You.................
I have just discovered several important , un answered messages in my windows live mail account. This was quite by accident as I never use this programme and don't remember downloading it. The messages from one particular sender have always gone to my
hotmail account and have done for many years so I don't understand why they are now going to live mail, is it something the sender is doing? Is there a way of deleting windows live and if so will all messages sent to my hotmail address get through?
