Change Profile Picture in Live Mail

I want to insert a picture; however the instruction given is not sufficient. There is no ok button; it says: drag...; but what I should drag and where to, no hint. Who can give me proper advise?

Mail Client is not properly installed issue

If I click on a mailto: link in any browser I receive a message "could not perform this operation ....  Mail Client is not properly installed".  If then I click OK about 50 Windows of Internet Explorer open and it locks up.  Restart fixes it.

 

I don't know when this started because I rarely click on a mailto: link in a browser.

 

Windows 7 x 32, IE10, Windows Live Mail Version 2011 (Build 15.4.3555.0308) (default), Thunderbird, Microsoft Security Essentials, Malwarebytes.

 

I have tried the following:

 

Reset Windows Live Mail to all defaults

Repaired Windows Live Mail

Set Thunderbird to default (still get the error)

Set Windows Live Mail to all defaults again

Reset Internet Explorer 10

how do you get rid of the magnifier which causes a black screen

somehow the magnifier came on my screen now my screen is black all icons on first screen are gone not being tech savy i dont know what to do. i want my computer back to normal with no magnifer  please help me...

Can receive but can’t send email using Windows Live Mail.

Error code 530 says smtp server rejects my email user name. After two hours on the phone with

 ATT tech support, they attribute problem to my mail settings.  A diagnostic says the problem is

APP incompatibility.  Everything was working until last Saturday. 

Complete error message is as follows:

"The message could not be sent because the server rejected the sender's email address.

Sender's email address was . . . .

Server Error: 530

Server Response: 530 authentication required - for help go to . . .

Server: 'smtp.att.yahoo.com'

Windows Live Mail Error ID: Ox800CCC78

Prostocol: SMTP

Port: 25

Finally was able to send my addresses as WABs to my new Win8 to use in my Live Mail account, but when I clicked on one set, it  said  “You are about to import Windows address book contacts” and sent them to a Windows Contacts folder and they don’t show up in my default mail which is optonline.net.   How do I transfer them to the right place?

email stuck in outbox. I don’t want to delete, I want to send. How do I do that?

This morning I learned that my sent emails from yesterday are stuck in my outbox.  I tried to resend this morning with no luck.  I deleted all but the one I sent to myself which is still sitting in the outbox.  I don't want to delete this one. I want to send it to make sure everything is working properly. What do I need to do?  All answers that I see point to deleting the emails offline.
