Windows live mail has stopped working. I can't change the setting to work online. I repeatedly get the error message the processing of selected tasks was interrupted.

How do I get my flagged items out of my inbox and allow them to stay in my flagged mail box. I can see them in both my inbox and the flagged box, but if I try to take them out of my inbox it sends them to the delete box and deletes them out of my flagged
box. A flagged question appeared in the right hand corner of my screen and I either turned it off or on and that is when they ended up in my inbox. As you can probably assume, I am not very computer savvy so I need a simple explanation. Thank you
I ran a windows 8 upgrade to my laptop which originally had windows vista sp2. I kept getting a "can't read memory error" on shut down. So I reinstalled windows vista from the cd. When I went into my windows live mail program all my mail was gone.

Since downloading Internet Explorer 8 my Windows Live Mail no longer retains addresses in groups. When I click on Contacts, all my groups are displayed including all the names asigned to the group. However, when sending an email, the group name appears in the To box, but none of the names are included. I've tried to redo the groups with a different group name, but when I try to send an email to the new group, the names and addresses don't carry over. How can I correct this problem?
whenever I try to go online I get the message Could not connect to "login.secure.co1.msn.com"? In the control panel it says I'm connected and the signal is strong. Any idea how to fix? Thanks Don Hofer
