Why do I keep getting this message every time I open mail (ONLY SECURE CONTENTS ARE DISPLAYED)-what are the risks, this never happened before

Hi,

I have just upgraded to Win 8.1 on my surface pro.

Previously I had Win8 SkyDrive set to sync to a folder in a mount point on my SDXC card - so this now has around 10Gb of data sat on my flash card.

After upgrading to 8.1, I now have "Smart Files" located in a new SkyDrive folder in my user directory (Surface pro internal drive) and SkyDrive knows nothing about the duplicate "real" files on the mounted SD card.


My question is - If I "Move" the location of the "Smart" win8.1 SkyDrive folder to the same location as the currently real files on the mount point - what will SkyDrive do? 1. Delete all the real files; 2. merge the changes and understand the real files are the same as the smart files; 3. create duplicates of everything and overfill my SkyDrive allocation; 4. crash and never work again.


I am hoping that option 2 will prevail - does anyone know?


Oh - and the reason I want to do this is so that I can just dump photos in the SkyDrive mount folder and have them automatically upload to SkyDrive in bulk.

My son can’t open word due to family safety.

I've removed all apps restrictions from his Family Safety profile but he can't open a word doc without getting: "Parental Controls has blocked this program. Path: C:\program files\Microsoft office\ office14". Parental controls is provided by Family Safety. When I log on to his profile all apps including all listed Office programs are unrestricted. How can I stop this please?

Jag kan inte skriva i meddelanderutan och ser en sur figur som syns mitt på sidan. Det är så här i webbläsaren Chrome men om jag öppnar mailen i Firefox är allt som det ska. Det verkar som det bara är knutet till mitt konto för min man kan öppna sitt och använda alla funktioner i sin mailbox med webbläsaren Chrome.
Vad är det för fel?

I am not receiving emails, they bounce back to sender, i also cant send emails, Help! it has been a bit strange for awhile, sent emails are not in the sent box either. we have not received any emails now and people saying they have bounced back. we are a new business so this is very important to get sorted. I have tried a couple of test emails today and they haven't arrived either

Please help!  I have a perental block on my outlook accout and cannot access it.  I have faxed and mailed a copy of my ID to Windows Live ID Child Age Verification and have a case number for this problem.  I have tried calling in on the 800 microsoft number and cannot get through to support for outlook.  Please help thank you 

Installing 8.1 – alternate e-mail address

When installing 8.1 how do I access my alternate e-mail address to receive the code? Do I use the same password as my regular e-mail address?

All my hotmail emails are GONE!!!

Can anyone get in touch with me and help me recover them?  I have tried to retrieve deleted emails but it didn't work.  Thank you for any help.
