I just upgraded from windows 8 to windows 8.1 a few days ago, mainly because of the new Skydrive functionality. I then purchased a 100Gb plan and moved all my files from my PC to the Skydrive folder (56,564 files, 26.7 Gb). Skydrive started syncing without
any trouble but then it stopped syncing. It just synced 36,073 files (15.7 Gb) and if I open my Skydrive app it tells me that it is "uploading 19,748 items", but it has been like that for the last 3 days. I have searched for a solution and nothing has worked.
I even tried to refresh windows 8.1 but it told me that I can refresh because I am missing some media files (which files if I upgraded from the Windows store????). Because of this problem I have been very unproductive in my work since Monday (4 days) and I
do not know what else to do. Please help me!!!
Can microsoft please reverst any changes made over the last 2 days? can anyone help or must I leace hotmail??

I have 2 computers, a laptop where all is working fine, and a desktop which is not. On the desktop, I recently moved, so changed my ISP, Security suite and email. I attempted to use my outlook.com email in the MS office 2010 pro email program, and I cannot send or receive email there. The error codes are as below:
Task *** Email address is removed for privacy ***' reported error (0x80004005) : 'Network operation failed'
Task '*** Email address is removed for privacy ***' reported error (0x8004102A) : 'Error with Send/Receive. There was an error synchronizing your folder hierarchy. Error : 80041004.'
Also on the desktop, I can login to outlook.com and receive my email, but cannot open any messages or navigate to anywhere off the inbox in the mail program. I can go to the contacts and other tabs though.
I tried changing some security settings, but can’t seem to find the right one.

somehow I have blocked a newsletter from my MSN account - it has several other email newsletters attached to the original publisher

As of late June '13 I stopped receiving the 'publish' emails from Craiglist. In posting an ad on that site, they send a 'publish' email that has to be responded to in order to complete the ad posting. I am no longer receiving these emails and they say
it's Microsoft's fault. All I know is that I receive email from everywhere else..... or so it seems. However, I am no longer able to use CL since I don't get the emails to complete my postings. As an 'old guy'....I need CL in order to supplement my income
with sales of 'stuff' in my local area. BTW, I check both my 'Incoming' and 'Junk' mail folders....and nothing arrives anywhere. Could there be a 'setting' I need to change, or another location where the email responses might be going? Any help would

When I start to type in the email address fields, previously used addresses pop up, cluttering the few that I really want.
How do I remove some of these auto-fill addresses? They are not in my contact list -- I know how to manage that.
I cannot find this under FAQs.
