Hello. My brother's contacts are mixed with mine. It seems that our accounts are linked. How can I not see his contacts? How can I break the link?

Got this on 9/26/13 and my files have all been held hostage ever since. I am now posting and tweeting this wherever I can to draw more attention and hopefully get it resolved for a lot of people. After reading some stuff online, I do not believe it is really only a "very small number of accounts"

Then after forum posts I got this in a private message on 10/04/13:

 

We found an error with a very small number of SkyDrive accounts. We are working hard to fix the issue but to minimize impact, the files are being kept in a ready only state. You will be notified via email when the problem is fixed, I do not have an ETA on when this will be. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your continued patience."

 

Now it is 10/25/13 and nothing has been resolved. Compared to a lot of people I do not have very much information stored here, but I use it for work and personal. I'm beginning to think they have simply lost all the information and can't retrieve it and they just don't want to admit it.

No files will sync with any computer or mobile device, I have a Windows 8 laptop, a Windows 7 laptop for work and a Windows 7 desktop. I also have an iPad and iPhone. This affects all files that are synced with SkyDrive, including pictures, Word, Excel and PowePoint documents and for me most importantly, OneNote notebooks. Nothing on local machines or devices will sync with SkyDrive and I can't open any of the files that are already stored in the cloud.

cant get into my email account

 

Just bought MS 365. Entered profile data to set up outlook. But when I go to log in the blue Outlook icon churns away saying 'loading profile'. then ends in an error message saying " The connection to Microsoft Exchange is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action." Can't get into profile to reset even using admin. either

My ISP uses Yahoo for it's e-mail.  Suddenly Outlook.com can't access those e-mail accounts.  It has been up and running for quite some time before this.  Nothing has changed.  I can directly login to that e-mail via Yahoo's mail portal.  I've verified that all of the settings are correct.  

This happened once before, but cleared after a few days.  I am using Chrome for my browser, the latest version.

Does anyone have any ideas?


Cannot empty my junk mail or deleted mail or new e mails after I read them. Help

I have been reading various chains here and I have the same problem a lot of others do.  I share the folder with someone.  They get an email with a link.  When they follow the link, they can see the files.  However, if they simply login to their skydrive account, they do NOT see the folder/files under their shared folders.  How can it be there via a link, but not there via login??  I am new to SkyDrive and I like the idea of this technology, but I've read that it may take 4-6 days before someone can access documents/folders via their shared folders - this seems unacceptable.  Is this something MSFT is working on fixing??

 

Am I doing something wrong with granting sharing permission?

I need a way of "Moving All Messages" From Junk Box or Delete Box to another folder. Is there a way of doing this? For my own reasons, at times I would like to Move All Messages (and Future Messages) from Delete and Junk to another box.
My emails are not accessible for last least a week after they are posted. I keep getting a code xxx807a server error. what is my problem. I have satellite service is that my problem?
I have had an HTC Sensation for almost 3 years now with multiple email accounts linked to the device (Gmail, Yahoo, and hotmail).  All have worked flawlessly until last week, where my hotmail account does not allow me to send messages from my phone.  I still receive emails and it updates regularly, but will not send anything.  I have attempted to reconfigure the settings, and sign in again, but it keeps giving me an authentication error message.  Which is odd considering I remain signed in, and receive mail.  

Thoughts on correcting this?
