Today I received a message from  Microsoft (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***) giving a code number and asking me to copy it or change my password. As the message does not look fake, I changed my password. Frankly, I am a bit worried that the message might be a scam. Any help!

I keep getting an alert that files are going to a POP folder which resides in my Deleted folder. When I try to change the settings for the POP folder (an option on the pop-up alert) I keep getting an error message. This alert comes every single time I open Outlook. How can I turn off this feature?
Greetings.

I'd like the password reset option to be enabled for the domain "launchark.com", in the Live Admin center. I was directed by the Microsoft support representative to create a public post here to resolve the issue.

Also,
1. Is it possible to have aliases internally for the domain? I do not have the option to create aliases with the registered domain name.
2. Or a creation of an alias that forwards email to multiple other email accounts.
3. Catch-all email address for the domain?
4. Is there any way, Junk email filter can be turned off, on the accounts? This reduces the effectiveness of email auto-forwards, as some email will have to be manually marked as safe.

Thanks for the help, in advance.

PS: Its unsettling that these issues have to be posted as public posts in order to resolve the issue. And there is no way to directly email support regarding the same, since there is no option to do so in the admin panel. I'd appreciate if the domain name given above be removed from this question, once the issue is resolved.
I cannot configure my Outlook Express to send emails. When I hit the send and receive button on Outlook Express, I get an error message that says it was unable to perform  1 of 2 tasks. I have an email account on outlook.com and I am trying to sync Outlook Express to it. I was able to get Express to receive but keep getting an error message. How do I correct this so I can send and receive my emails through Outlook Express. Also I only have SSL and cannot change it to TLS.
Since upgrading to Windows 8, I cannot figure out how to sort my Outlook folders by "from".  All mail is sorted by date, and I want to view it by sender.
After opening email home page, get this message at bottom of page: Your messages are in your POP folder!

Some other program is set to download and delete your messages from Outlook. Just in case this was an accident, we've put them in a special POP folder.

A while back, got unwanted update to Outlook express.  Noticed after frustrating process to return to previous version of outlook, I unexepectedly had a folder called "POP".  I deleted it and now, I'm getting the message above.  Can't find out what/why or if this is a problem, bug or what but, I want to correct whatever is causing this.

Hi, I have lost my photos after my new laptop came up with a message, no drive, this feature requires remove able media such as usb, I had google sky drive for all my photos etc.. .. Know how advised me to re boot etc and now I have lost everything... Help
I am unable to access my outlook emails. I get the following error message 'Sorry, there seems to be a problem with outlook right now'

I am able to access other services such as Calendar. I have already done the following:
  • Logged in with different browsers, Safari, Chrome & Firefox
  • Checked that all browsers are up to date.
  • Cleared my Cache right back to 'the beginning of time'
I am able to access my other outlook account fine & my partner is able to access his.

Please let me know how to resolve this problem - it's incredibly frustrating as the error message provides no clue as to what the problem could be.

Thanks,
Sarah
