I joined outlook in hopes that I could 'unify' my multiple sources of e-mails and thereby be able to have one place for them all. (That was one of the 'selling points' of choosing to use this system). However, I'm unable to even start with setting up my inbox because it keeps saying there's a problem with microsoft. Please tell me if I'm forgetting a step, or if there is a different way of completing this.

If this is a security feature, it should be allowed to turn it off, not be forced upon us with no choice.
I am a really upset customer and these are the mistakes that puts nails in the coffin for me using microsoft products in the future.

I had a VERY important video file which I have deleted from my another skydrive account and can't find it in recycle bin now which I thought I can recover. Its size is of 1.69GB. Now I lost it and want someone to help me recover it. This is a VERY imp for my life and am ready to pay Microsoft for any help in recovering it.
Please do help me ASAP.
