I am planning to use SkyDrive to sync files between a few PCs (Win 7 & Win8.1) and a new MacBook Pro. I have no problems with the windows machines but I am wondering what will happen with the Mac. Are there any compatibility issues? Files formats are different, AFAIK. In the past, I had problems with text files from Macs on my PC - end of line, etc., were encoded differently. I also have Maple files, etc.
So while I was away for a week, I changed my password to log into windows 8, so my girlfriend could use the computer while I was away. But now I can't change it back to my original password. This is one I use across all my windows machines and a very complex one (11 letters/symbols/numbers/uppercase), which took me a long time to memorize.

If this is a security feature, it should be allowed to turn it off, not be forced upon us with no choice.

I am a really upset customer and these are the mistakes that puts nails in the coffin for me using microsoft products in the future.
