14.24 Erased my Identity

Installing Office for Mac 14.2.4 ERASED my Outlook Identity - all my emails, con acts, calendar entries...gone!   
Rebuilding from a back up (pre-14.2.4 Identity) only erases that Identity as well.  

Help!!  Any solutions besides uninstalling?
(this happened with SP2 as well!  Why again in SP3?!)
