I have owned a MacBook Pro loaded with MS Outlook 2011 for Mac for almost a year now.  I use Outlook for my personal Yahoo email but, leave the emails on the server since I also an iPhone and internet sometimes to manage my personal emails.  About three months ago, Outlook began downloading all of my old emails from the Yahoo server again.  I thought this might have been a one time deal due to daylight savings time change, etc. but, this has now occurred three times (seems to be at the beginning of a new month).  Any recommendations on how to resolve?  Thanks.
I just started noticing this problem around September 27 or 28.

Emails sent from yahoo accounts are frequently getting deferred by 12 to 24 hours.  Typically, the message either comes through within a couple of minutes or else it's delayed for many hours.  I suspect that it depends on the IP address of the specific Yahoo server that's trying to send the message to Hotmail.

I'm sure there's some excuse for rejecting connections from Yahoo because they appear to be sending a lot of spam, but it's ridiculous when it means that legit messages from Yahoo are subjected to extended delays.

Is there any way to influence the people in charge of outlook.com to keep the yahoo IP addresses off of their delay list?

All my sends are stuck and I don't know where to find that 'too large' mail on WLM to delete it.

The WLM error message is below, I was sending an email with 3 attachments about 2MB each. It appears the Yahoo server is rejecting my email because it's too large, I just need to know where to go to kill it in Live Mail, it's not in the 'Sent' folder because it hasn't been sent yet. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity.

For some reason a number of my yahoo.com email is not on my Outlook for Mac, but is on the yahoo server, my iPad and iPhone.

Is there a way to "refresh" the email data back down to Outlook without deleting the account from Outlook?

If not, what are the steps to delete the yahoo account from Outlook and then add the account back on with out accidentally deleting email from the yahoo sever?

As always - Many thanks!
