Windows movie maker (and windows essentials) is not on my pc, but will says it is???? HELP PLEASE

I am very very frustrated with windows right now, my movie maker stopped working so i deleted it, that was fine, then went to reinstall it off the windows website. This was fine, it installed and i installed all of the windows essentials and stuff and it put shortcuts on my startmenu and stuff but nothing will open it says it dosnt exsist and when i go to control panel or uninstall or change a program and all those places it isnt even on the list, i cant find it anywhere on my pc, any of the programs, even though movie maker is all i really want. I went back to the site and tried downloading it again, but all it says is ok you already have these programs and closes yet i  still cannot find the programs ANYWHERE. This is very frustrating and ive taken probably  a good 3 hours just today trying to find it on my pc, when i search it nothing comes up but some broken shortcuts and files with nothing inside them, i delete them but nothing changes. Please help, i just want to get movie maker andhave it work. I am on windows 8 also, thank you for your time.

Movie Maker won’t install on my Windows 7 Laptop?

I'm trying to download Windows Movie Maker 2012, but it keeps telling me it can't be downloaded and comes up with..

Error: 0x80040705

Source: dotNet40

I've checked all the system requirement, which are completely fine.

I used the Windows site and tried everything it suggested, so that means changing proxy settings, disk cleanup, changing firewall settings and freeing any invalid disk space, and it still won't work.

I tried downloading Movie Maker 2.6 which worked but won't upload any of the videos I wish to use, so essentially unhelpful.

Can anyone help me out please, as I really need Movie Maker for an assignment due in a couple of weeks!

windows movie maker 2.6 problem

Hi

when i open a project on windows movie maker 2.6, and then press play, it plays. But once the video is over, it won't play again. (actually it's if i haven't played anything else or moved anything else yet, it will play, otherwise not.) The play indicator that shows you where you are moves, but the screen just keeps the start of the video. 

I will put a video so you know what I mean: I guese that's not possible, but if it is, i'll put in on.

Oh, and i added a chroma black and chroma white transition to windows movie maker, if that makes a difference.

It would be great if someone could help.

Windows Movie Maker: Pause Problem

Whenever I pause the video to edit it, the music restarts itself. I just wanna keep editing from where I am in the video.

Yet, I have to keep restarting to get back to the point I was at. Can anyone help? 

It just started doing this on recent videos...

Hi - can someone help?

I'm have a new computer with Windows 8.1. I'm running Windows Movie Maker Version 2012 (Build 16.4.3522.0110).

I can activate my USB-connected webcam without a problem, but all I have is the video - no audio. The inbuilt mic is working fine - I can record narration without difficulty - and Skype is also OK (both audio and video).

Is there a conflict somewhere that's blocking the audio on a straight recording from the webcam?

I have a question about windows movie maker. When I add a video that is 1920x1088 the resolution and quality of the video drops. How can I maintain that resolution when I finalize and render the video?

Going absolutely nuts.  Have downloaded Windows Movie Maker - and FINALLY succeeded - as far as I can tell.  But there doesn't seem to be any icon where I can actually pull up the program.  In my downloaded programs I see 'wlsetup' - but no .exe program.

Am I missing something easy?

Slow Mo + Fast Motion Change

Hello! For Windows Movie Maker, when you make something Slow Mo/Fast Mo, it looks all glitchy and it shouldn't be like that. It should be nice and moving smooth like Adobe After Effects. Can you please add this in the updates? Thanks Guys.

I cannot download Movie maker for Windows 8.1 on my Surface 2 Pro

Windows movie maker will not download onto my Surface 2 Pro because my computer needs ...NET frameworks 3.5 .  When I try to get this it is refused. I think this is because windows 8.1 uses another .NET frameworks file. Is there a version of movie maker that I can download or will I have to pay for some other movie program like Power Director?. I can't find out if I have even got the Windows essentials suite on my computer. Thankyou.
