After working 2.5 hours last Thursday, Microsoft finally got my Windows Live Mail 2012 to work, or so I thought. I get the mail ok, but I can't send any out. I keep getting different error messages and no mail will go out. How do I finally get this program working so that I can get the mail as well as send it out?
After thinking I had installed windows essentials (but cant find it) windows live mail icon disappeared and got an error msg that said my corrupt calendar was corrupted and would not allow windows live mail to open. Have not found a way to fix it. Whats up

I use Windows Live Mail. I have a Gmail account. I have received an e-mail that has the subject line “Documents Attached” I use Windows 7. I believe this e-mail is infected. Whenever I delete it and then empty the trash folder it comes back. The person is on my blocked list and the e-mail comes to the spam folder, which is where it re-appears after being deleted from the trash folder.

When I press ? in Windows Live Mail I get E with a French accent (grave). Other s (in the same neighbourhood on the keyboard give equally baffling outcomes.

Hello. I think that my computer is possessed.

I have Windows Live Mail 2013 or whatever the latest version is, got it about a week ago. Now, I have strange happenings. Windows Mail pops up and tells me that it is synchronizing and a few other odd messages that I don't remember off hand. It locks up for no reason whatsoever and I have to force kill the process. It even closes itself for no reason at all. But the best part is when it decides to unpin itself from he taskbar and/or the start menu.

Does anyone know what might be causing this?

I am A Student at University and am unable to send any emails from my talktalk account while I can receive without any trouble.

This error appears within about 1 sec of me pressing 'send and receive':

Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity.

Subject: [Subject]
Server: 'smtp.talktalk.net'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0F
Protocol: SMTP
Port: 587
Secure(SSL): Yes
Socket Error: 10053

I have tried changing the port and unticking/ticking this requires secure connection and have tried disabling my firewall.

I am 99% sure it is related to the University's Servers and not my Laptop.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I tried to fix a problem using CMD and apparently screwed up the message store. Got this message: Windows Live Mail could not be started. The application was unable to open the Windows Live Mail Message Store. (0x800C0155,2)

I inadvertently may have uninstalled Windows Live Mail. I can no longer find it. After downloading a Widows Essentials update, I changed my mind, uninstalled it, and in the process lost Windows Live Mail. Is it recoverable? I don't want to lose my contact list and the folders. I am running Windows 8.1. Thanks for any help you send my way.
I have an e-mail account with ATT, but I use Windows Live Mail 2011, I prefer it.   My problem is that I am now receiving about 100 JUNK e-mails a day. I think some one got my e-mail address some months ago, and sent it to junk e-mail providers.   Here is my question:  How do I change my e-mail address to a new one? Do I have to go to ATT for that.? Thanks
When trying to access Live Mail I repeatedly am asked for ID and Password when I know they are correct! The screen eventually shows Server error 0x800CCC90, Server Response - ERR[AUTH] (#MBR1212) Incorrect username or password and Windows Livemail Error ID: 0x800CCC92.
