When I open it, I usually get a message, "Something unexpected happened and....(it has to close). Other times it won't open at all. Can I uninstall and download a fres version, or is there a better fix? Thanks for your help. Running Windows 7 on a Dell XPS 8300.
Printer works from other applications and is on line; however, emails from windows live mail will not print with this laptop and printer.  They will print  from my desktop.
The menu bar with "Tools" is missing from Windows 7 (64bit) from Windows LIve. I've tried Alt - M and all I get is an irritating noise telling me whatever I did was wrong. I've tried Alt - V and it did not make the bar appear. I've tried left clicking on the right side of the question mark and it didn't work. Does anyone have an answer or solution to this problem?

When i export any email folders to a folder on my desktop for filing purposes all it exports is a .fol file and i can't open it. If it does export an e mail that i can open using Windows Live Mail, it is only one reply or email not the whole conversation like I want. I've tried updating all the e-mails and changing the store folder and it still never syncs conversations just the folders that they're in on the e-mail interface. Please help it's important and highly frustrating
What happens to the Junk Mail if I delete the Junk Mail Folder in Windows Live Mail?
I have windows live mail running; when I am finished and want to close the program, I click the x, and it will not close.  I have to click the - and that puts the open program on my taskbar, then I close the program from there.  Why will clicking the x not close the program? Thanks

Just updated to latest ver.  Using vista home premium.  Old ver worked fine.

I am unable to send messages from my windows live mail  and keep getting this message:

An unknown error has occurred.

Server: 'mail.optusnet.com.au'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x80070057
Protocol: SMTP
Port: 25
Secure(SSL): No

One of my messages had photos attached and I opened the Windows Live ID and tried to send the messages, but the error still remained. I tried  switching the Protocol SMTP Port from 25 to 587, but still the same.

Does anyone have wisdom to share?

Regards

I want to import messages from a .wab file into Windows Live mail.  Every thing I have read says I should be able to do this.  But cannot find the option anywhere
