Functioning Windows Live Mail 2012 produces “Server Error 0x800488EB” as of today.

Functioning Windows Live Mail 2012 stopped sending and receiving messages for my MSN email account.  New mail and folders viewable and usable on outlook.com.

I have reviewed most questions regarding this issue on the community site and I have found no solution, so I need HELP.

My machine is running Windows 7 64-bit.  Computer protected by Microsoft Security Essentials.

On 5/9/2014 Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Compact Edition [ENU] (3.1.0000) was installed.  (I did NOT do this.)  I do not run SQL server and do not need it. I notice that SQL Server Compact 3.5 SP2 [ENU] and x64 [ENU] are present and installed 5/19/2011.  I may not need these unless they are needed by the system or other programs.  This may have been the cause or related to the issue.  No other recent program installation activity

Updates are current.  No update installed in the last few days when checked in Control panel.

I have uninstalled windows essentials 2011 and the installed 2012 still unable to set up my msn.com email account in windows live mail.

What are the in coming and out coming servers for msn.com account in WLM. I found a click "here" link in support for server settings but when I clicked it it said could internet explorer could not connect  to windows live support .

I have removed and added msn.com account 3 times, still does not work.

I can access my account through outlook but not windows live which I prefer. Other accounts (Hotmail) work in live just not msn.com account

I developed this problem as well yesterday 5/8/14. My windows live still downloads my other email accounts, just not my .msn email. My phone and tablet still work, but my laptop that stays at home is the primary one I use. Also the .msn is the primary email account that I use to to start using one of the others and tell everyone to forget my .msn email and start using a different one will be a big pain. I  have tried to delete the account and reinstall it. Now I just get a message the says "windows live mail is trying to synchronize your account. check back in a few minutes to read your messages"

Cannot send or receive email within Live Mail Error ID: 0x800488EB

I recently (yesterday) lost the ability to send and receive mail within Live Mail. Error Message:

Unable to send or receive messages for the MSN account.

Server Error: 0x800488EB
Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800488EB

I tried the fixes offered by Mary V., but to no avail. I'm at a loss as to why Live Mail stopped working, as no changes were made to system prior to failure. I have switched to Outlook for now.

Not able to receive emails at Windows Live Mail

I have not had any problems so far until the last one week when I could not get my emails to appear on my Windows Live Mail.  I get this message:

Unable to send or receive messages for the robmei2001 account. Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity.

 

Server: 'pop.mail.yahoo.com.sg'

Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0F

Protocol: POP3

Port: 995

Secure(SSL): Yes

I checked all my configurations accordingly and everything is correct.  But still cannot get emails.  Can someone please help me?

difficulty downloading yahoo mail to windows live mail

Hi, 

I am having difficulty sending and receiving all of my yahoo mail from the windows live mail. All my settings and passwords are correct. Does anyone know what the problem is? The screenshot of error msg is below. And here is a close up of the error message :

IN WINDOWS LIVE MAIL, CANNOT ABLE TO PRINTOUT BUT OTHER APPLICATIONS PRINTOUT PROPERLY

I am using " Win Pro 7 SP1 32-Bit " and Windows Live Mail, Its working fine up to last week, but now i cant able to  print out in HP Laser jet 1010 printer from windows live mail only, I can take print outs from all other applications(Word, Excel, PDF etc..). When I try to printout, I select print option nothing happens, just printer logo comes to task bar and hided after few seconds and i checked in printer status(what is printing), no documents in the queue. Kindly analyse and tell the solutions for this issue.

I have been receiving the following error all day when I try to use my paid MSN account on Windows Live Mail. I've used Live Mail for years and now suddenly today I get an error and cannot get my messages.  I've spoken to 3 different people at Microsoft all passing me off to someone else till the third sent me to a forum.  Very helpful.  Please fix this error ASAP.  Yes, I have reset my password.  Yes, I have removed and then tried to add the account. Yes, I can see my email through your browser based Outlook.  No, I do not want to 'just use that'.  Please reset whatever is necessary so I can again access my MSN account through Windows Live Mail.

The error is below:

Using Windows Live Mail to Access from outlook. It will not sync to my Outlook . It stopped working today-help please
