Windows Live Mail suddenly does not respond to font instructions (HTML).
Windows XP platform, Internet Explorer 8, but Firefox is preferred browser.
Uninstalling Live Mail and re-installation does not cure the fault.
The same installation program newly run (just now) on a laptop, also with Windows XP displayed no font format problem.
Advice would be welcome.

I recently downloaded Security Essentials . I can receive but cannot send emails from Windows Live mail. My ISP tells me it is a software problem. Can anyone explain and how to fix emails stuck in my outbox? I am using Windows 7.

Hi, Messages will come into my inbox when I click the send/receive button but as soon as the message hits the inbox it deletes. Can't find it anywhere. It is still on my servers mail page so I know that I received a message. Anyone seen this? Thanks

I was using Windows Live Mail in Windows 7. Now I have upgraded 7 to Windows 8, but I cannot use Windows Live mail anymore. I have got tons of information in Win Live Mail. What should I do ? How can I get Win Live Mail to work in Windows 8 ? Thanks

Hey, I'm getting Server Error: 3204 on Windows Live Mail. Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE2000
I started getting this problem about a few weeks ago, then it fixed it self for a week, and now it's back to the same error for a few days now. I've tried Reinstalling Windows Essentials, I've also tried deleting the Registry Keys, and other files related to the program, but still I have no luck in getting it to work. I have tried another non Microsoft email account with this program, and it works. It doesn't seem to work with a Microsoft related email address.
Any ideas on how to fix this?

When I delete an email in Hotmail it also gets deleted on my computers Windows Live Mail program.
Is there a way to delete mail in Hotmail yet keep a copy on my hard drive and recall it without it being
deleted?
I have no error showing, just the window that says" 0 of 1 task completed successfully" & no reason given. The Windows Live mail was fine @ 5:00 a.m. Sat. but @ 10 a.m. this window appeared & there's no way to open the program. I checked directly w/mail @ Charter & there's no place to see if there's a locked out box. [2 wks. ago when I tried to send photos out that locked it up & then bagan adding any mail w/a picture or cartoon & kept getting worse w/non pictured mail from friends. I went thru all kinds of links @ Microsoft & nothing helped. Finally deleted the photos & the out box cleared.] I have no idea what is not being sent out now but it's not photos.
My outbox got locked up once before when I tried to send family photos so I assume I have a problem w/SkyDrive now also! I am not a techie!

How do I stop the windows live mail sign in box from appearing every time I open the program. It is defaulting to a hotmail program that I rarely use . This just began when the program self updated to the new Outlook, also I have never used Outlook so
it is not defaulting from another location.
