I have Windows 7 with Windows Mail and it keeps asking me for my username and password for all 10 e-mail addresses that i am using.  It is not my anti-virus nor my firewall as i am using Microsoft Security Essentials.  I have tried deleting and then adding back on these e-mails to no avail and i have also tried uninstalling Windows Live Essentials and reinstalling it but the problem is still there.  When adding in each e-mail i made sure to check 'remember password'. What else can i do??  Thank you.

3 seperate Hotmail accounts simultaneously generate this error:

Unable to send or receive messages for the Hotmail (<my usernames>) account.

Server Error: 3204
Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE20003

I have searched help over days in many forums and tried all of the recommended fixes to no avail:

  1. Deleted Windows Live Mail folder in "C:\Users\<my user name>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail"
  2. Repaired Windows Live Essentials
  3. Uninstalled and reinstalled Windows Live Essentials
  4. Logged out and logged back in to Hotmail
  5. Tried switching https to http and back again at web address https://login.live.com/login.srf?wa=wsignin1.0&rpsnv=11&ct=1363075109&rver=6.1.6206.0&wp=SAPI&wreply=https:%2F%2Faccount.live.com%2Fmanagessl&lc=1033&id=38936
  6. Shut off firewall and tried to connect
  7. Tried connecting at home network as well as at work network (both worked fine 4 days ago)

Conclusion:  WINDOWS LIVE MAIL IS BROKEN ON THE SERVER SIDE

Before the failure, I had made not changes to my network, mail, calendars, or system.

Windows Live Mail application on my Windows 7 machine works for all of my GMail accounts.

Microsoft seems to think everything is working fine, according to their status page https://status.live.com/

If you can offer any help that I have not already tried, please let me know what that is.  I don't know how to tell Microsoft that Hotmail is broken.

How do I stop 2012 Windows Live Mail from automatically downloading email?   Live email is installed on windows 8.   Thanks

Original title: 2012 Windows Live Mail

How do I stop 2012 Windows Live Mail from automatically downloading email?   Live email is installed on windows 8.   Thanks

I imported a previous contact list from Vista. I am now using Windows Live Mail. Old addresses display Surname, First name. New ones I enter must be Firs name then Surname? Is there an option to cha nge this?
I have tried using a different printer and WLM still shuts down with an error message and sometimes then restarts.   WLM worked fine for a long time - this is a sudden and new problem

Recently I started having issues with Windows Live Mail, I now cannot send from my comcast address or my own website address, both of which I receive just fine. I can still send from my hotmail address, which is also received through Windows Live Mail. When I click on the Properties tab (under Accounts) to check the settings, which is suggested, it will not open.  Any help available with this issue?  thank you.

I have lost all my contact adresses from Windows Live Mail, have been in touch with Orange and they say it is a software problem, how do I get them back?
