I use Windows Live Mail to view my Hotmail e-mail; recently my hard drive had to be replace and I lost Windows Live Mail; when I went on to Microsoft's web site to download Windows Live Essencials, I was told that there is no download available fo Windows Vista any long. I'm not intrested in the other programs that make up Windows Live Essencials only Windows Live Mail or a program where I am able to view my Hotmail  account online as well as offline at any moment. Any help in this regard is most welcome.

Quando quero mandar uma mensagem em anexo ou qualquer outra fica dando erro do Windows live mail: 0x80072F19, como posso resolver este problema e continuar enviar meus e-mails, obrigado.

I recently did a system image restore from a failing hard drive (750GB) to a new 1TB hard drive.  All programs and files were copied over successfully except for windows live mail. Now my email doesn't work.  It tries to load but I get a pop up message " Windows live mail could not be started.  Closing Windows Live Mail. Your calendar contains corrupt data that is forcing Windows Live Mail to close. (Ox8E5E0247).

I have tried uninstalling and re-installing live mail, doing a program uninstall cleanup from cmd line, deleting the calendar folder in C:\Users\.........\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail. deleting the whole Windows Live mail folder, changing my date and time settings, changing my calendar details in hotmail.  The only thing I haven't done is update my Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver because I went from a lower GB hard drive to a higher capacity hard drive as was suggested on a forum post. This is a new hard drive.  I checked and I believe the driver installed is the latest.

Original thread title: how do I read a MIMI format email?

Today I all at once started getting about 5% to 10% of my emails thru Windows Live mail 2012 as MIMI Format? How do I open them up so I can read them?

These are coming in thru my desktop Windows Live mail.

However, in Outlook.com, with same server they are OK.

Original title: Email - download problems

I have a problem with my email since my broadband provider had email problems.  When I go into my email it starts to download all the emails I have recieved since 2009.  How can I stop this happening.

I haven't seen any questions that were similar to what I'm now asking. I've had Windows Live Mail for a few weeks now and things have been ok. This morning, I set up a Hotmail account, but then realized that was a mistake, so I deactivated it and also removed it from the Windows Live Mail. The problem is that every time I turn on Windows Live Mail, a window pops up and asks me to sign into my Hotmail account. That account no longer exists, so the password is useless. This doesn't affect my being able to use WLM, but it's a very annoying nuisance. How can I make this go away? Thanks.

I was having problems where I could receive email messages but they would hang in my outgoing mail folder and not get sent.  I would get a pop up error message from windows live mail.  I contacted my ISP Verizon and they removed my email account from windows live mail and then added it back.  When they did this all of the existing email messages were lost.  They claimed this was a Windows Live Mail issue and that the messages are still there. I can now send messages however the cure appears to be worse than the original problem.  Does anyone know how I can recover the "lost" email messages and folders?

Thanks.

Original Title: Lost Email Windows Live Mail - Windows 7 Home Premium

I am using WLM12 desktop client. I have set my default font for composing mail to Arial 12. When I paste a link into an e-mail, which I do quite often, it is pasted as Times New Roman 12. How do I set a default font for links pasted into an e-mail? Thx.

I have not been able to send emails using Windows Live Mail since 05/25.

As suggested, I reinstalled Windows Esentials last night, restarted computer, and checked account settings.  Still cannot send emails.

In Windows Live Mail under spelling options/ languages when I highlight English (United Kingdom) it doesn't allow me to uninstall it because the uninstall button is grey.
