I have Windows Live Mail version 2012 (build 16.4.3508.0205) running on Windows 8.1.  I have 4 email accounts downloading to this program, 2 Gmail accts and 2 earthlink accts.  All are pop accounts.  I am getting dual copies of some emails, but it is not consistent.  It does not happen on all emails but it does happen in all the different accounts on a seemingly random basis.  How do I stop this?
For the second time in about three months, my wife's entire email account has disappeared from Windows Live Mail.  1.)  What causes this to happen?  2.) Is there any way to retrieve her account and email?
I work under Vista, with Windows Live Mail.

I recently had to change my e-mail address, and as a result. I changed my ID on Windows Live from my old to my new e-mail address.

This seems to have created two separate Windows Live Mail accounts, with my Calendar and Contacts associated with the old account.

So I now find that:
     # If I log in to Windows Live Mail using my old (now defunct) e-mail address as ID I get the correct e-mails, Contacts and Calendar, as I would have done when my old e-mail was my actual e-maill address.
     # However, if I log in with my new e-mail address as ID, I get the right e-mails, but the wrong (out of date or default) Contacts and Calendar.

I tried to fix this by making the old e-maill address an alias in the new account, but it won't let me do that.

QUESTION:  How can I link the old (correct) Contacts and Calendar to the account with the new  ID?
For some reason I have lost the ability to go on line with my email account.  This happened whilst trying to find out why email backup with Acronis doesnt work.  Now I am unable to get on line at all with my email account.  I have tried reinstalling the software but to no avail.  In addition I thought I might try Thunderbird with Acronis so I loaded that and tried to transfer all my messages etc across but the system will not open or allow Thunderbird to open a tool for doing this with and extension of  .xpi.  Can anybody help please?

*please note that those labels are translated by me from polish and they could be quite different that in english version of Windows.

I'm using Windows 7 Pro x64 and Windows Live Mail 2012 - installed last month.
I was testing two different printers and they are working fine except LiveMail.
Printing to XPS file is worging, but next trying to print this file I get the same problem - application hang out and close.
Doing research I found a lot of posts with the same issue, people have the same problem with printing under Live Mail, IE and XPS files. Unfortunately I didn't find any working, concrete solution that would be help and solve my problem.

I hope that someone knows the sollution,
Kris

Is my SBCGLOBAL POP & SMTP correct for a sbcglobal.net email ID

POP - pop.sbcglobal.yahoo.com
SMTP - smtp.sbcglobal.yahoo.com

I tried sbcglobal.net as well and nthing works.

I've have recently upgrade Windows Live Mail 2011 to the last version of Windows Live Mail 2012.
I've about 7.000 contacts, and now, when I create a new message and start to write a contact name to send email, WLM freeze for about 20/30 seconds.
When I reply to all and I have many contacts I must wait minutes before writing the message.
What can I do?
Could I return to Windows Live Mail 2011 without loose contacts and emails?
The personal computer computer is new, with 4GB of ram, Windows 7 Professional 32 bit and a 250GB SSD Samsung.

Thanks a lot for the attention!

I use a btinternet email.  Worked perfectly well until a coiple of months ago.  Then sporadically got the following errors:

Server Response: -ERR inactivity timeout

Server: 'mail.btinternet.com'

Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800420CD

Protocol: POP3
