Windows Live Mail FAQ
On desktop Windows Live Mail 2012 in Windows 8, when I forward an email at top section under File, Message, Insert, Options is not highlighted.
I cannot change the font type, or font size. Also, the bold, italic, underscore, cap, etc. does not work.

I have 2 live.com email accounts one works fine but the other fails to work on either of my pcs tablet or phone . It has never been an issue before , but I get the error shown above above . I can not even connect via the Hotmail web client to the said account

This afternoon while emailing some photos from Picasa using Windows Live Mail (Version 2011 (Build 15.4.3555.0308)) the computer seized up. Since then (after shutting down and restarting) I have been unable to create, or reply to, or forward a message. I can still receive however. How can I fix this?

I am having recurrent problems with Windows Live Mail. Sometimes I get the 3204 error message (Unable to send or receive messages: Server error 3204. Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0X8DE2003), and sometimes WLM will not open at all. I employ a number of strategies to get it running: checking for mail stuck in the Outbox, deleting my two accounts then adding them back, running WNL diagnostic, repairing Essentials, uninstalling Essentials then reinstalling, running CCcleaner, running System Restore. Eventually something works, although I can never predict which. Frustratingly, the fix only lasts a few days...WLM has gone down five times since I started keeping a log on November 18. Where do I go from here?
