It's possible that the issue was caused by a corrupted program file in Windows Live Mail client installed in your desktop. Kindly repair Windows Live Mail by following the steps below:

1. Go to Control Panel.
2. Under Programs, click Uninstall a Program.
3. Locate Windows Live Essential 2011 then click Uninstall/Change.
4. When a window appears, select Repair all Windows Live programs.
5. Restart your computer after the repair.

During the past couple of weeks:

Re.  some emails from friends appearing in my "Inbox" as well as those under my "Sent Items":

when I attempt to delete them they stop windows mail from working and seem to create a loop by having the screen return to the Windows Mail home page.

I run Windows 7.

If I do the above repair, will it delete my other emails?

Unable to send or receive messages for the Celine account. Header download for the 'Inbox' folder did not complete. Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity.

Server Response: Your IMAP command could not be sent to the server, due to non-network errors. This could, for example, indicate a lack of memory on your system.

I AM ABLE TO SEE MY RECEIVED MAILS AND MOST OF MY OTHER INFORMATION. IT APPEARS THAT I AM WORKING OFFLINE, SO I THEN TRY TO SIGN IN AND IT SAYS MY USER NAME AND/OR PASSWORD ARE INCORRECT, TRY AGAIN LATER. I THEN ATTEMPTED TO CHANGE AND UPDATE MY ACCOUNT WHICH SAID IT WAS SUCCESSFUL, BUT IT STILL WONT WORK. PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Have recently begun to have 20 or so spam emails (mostly designated BULK) arrive in both INBOX & JUNK MAIL BOX.  I do employ the junk email rules available already.  Am using a laptop with WINDOWS 7.  What additional actions can be taken to prevent unwanted emails from arriving at computer?

How can I change the default font for Indian languages like Malayalam in Windows Live Mail? It seems that WLM does not share the font settings of IE.

Starting yesterday (12/11/13) whenever I try to copy and paste anything with rich text, such as a part of a Wikipedia article, into an outgoing e-mail in Windows Live Mail, it crashes. When I try to paste it with CTRL-V, it simply does nothing. Nothing pastes. It is as if I didn't have anything in my clipboard. But if I right click and select PASTE, then Windows Live Mail crashes every time. As I said, this started happening just one day ago, and never gave me a problem until then. Was there some "upgrade" that was installed that broke the program?

I should point out that I just paste it in plain text, it works fine. So to quickly make it work, I find myself pasting it into my browser's URL (but not hitting enter) and them copying that to the e-mail. But that is obviously not an acceptable solution for something that worked fine two days ago.
