I have about 5 email addresses that I use this program for, all of them either hotmail or live addresses, and just one of them is having issues. Every time I open WLM, all of them download their new emails just fine except this one. It fails, every single time now for more than a week, with the following error message:

Unable to send or receive messages for the (editedout) account.
Server Error: 0x80072EF3
Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x80072EF3

What gives? Why is it just this ONE email address that is giving WLM fits, and how in God's name do I fix it? I have searched everywhere I can think of on 3 different search engines and nothing - NOTHING - is giving me any help at all. This is my last hope. Please, help me fix this. This is my main email address we are talking about here, and if WLM can't retrieve messages for it then the program and is worse than useless to me. Thanks in advance.

Keep getting this error message;

Unable to send or receive messages for the Live (rtabor1) account.

Server Error: 3204
Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE20003

I have tried the regedit fix.  Doesn't work.  The key I am supposed to delete isn't there.  Instead there is an empty string and pone that says something about messengerclear.  Aslo worth noting that it was working fine until Windows automatic update installed some updates today Oct. 10, 2013.

I am unable to receive email on one of my live accounts.  I am getting the message:  Server Error: 5102   Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE00002

I have sent a test message from that account to another live account and it was received, but cannot receive new mail or access any saved messages in any folders.  My incoming mail from that account can be accessed on my iPad and iPhone.  I have attempted to follow the instructions posted in response to others, but have been unable to get beyond the first step.  I am running Windows 7 and when I get into the commands, I cannot get beyond REGSVR32 initpki.dll.  I get a message that "it failed to load".

Please advise.

[Moved from feedback]

I have two accounts set up in Windows Live Mail.  Both sync just fine from home, one syncs just fine from work.  The other one gives the error:

Unable to send or receive messages for the xxx account.

Server Error: 0x800488EB
Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800488EB

Now, this is where it gets interesting.  If I get off the work network and onto an open network and do a sync (which works), then get back on the work network, that account syncs properly from the work network for just about exactly 24 hours, then stops again.

I have done the remove/re-add thing, and there is no change.  Note that this started up on its own one day after having worked fine for many years.

One thing I've noticed that's probably related is that, in Properties-Server-Server URL, the account that works looks for:

http://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/sync.aspx

While the account that doesn't work looks for:

https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/sync.aspx

Note the secure URL in the one that doesn't work.

It turns out this is happening to others in our organization as well, but like with me not on all accounts.

I'd like to fix this either by finding what to change in the account properties or by white-listing something in our cyber-security system so that it doesn't happen for these accounts.

Thank you.

I can open Live Mail, but I get the following (as of this morning):

Unable to send or receive messages for the xxxxx account.

Server Error: 5102
Server: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8DE00002

However: I can open the messages in Outlook, which is not my preference. I have been receiving messages to  update my instant messenger  to the  latest version, which I have (Skype 6.6); the "latest version" referred to is 6.3, which Skype properly reminds me is older than what I have. I'm running Windows 8.

To complicate matters even  more,  existing WLM messages are opening in Gmail.

I did a Windows Live Essentials repair, which didn't help.

Other than removing WLM completely and reinstalling it, what can I do?

Thanks.
