Original title: Can an advisor from hotmail or Microsoft  help me to retrieve my email account?

I urgently need to retrieve my email account but am being blocked from the questionnaire and security path.  Can I speak or be emailed from an advisor that can support direct from hotmail or Microsoft?

I'm posting in behalf of my dad.

He's been randomly blocked or locked out of his email
After he resets his password (using the phone sent code) it tell him "It looks like someone else might be using your account" He's tried filling out the questionnaire but the account was made almost a decade ago and he doesn't use the mail very often. just to communicate urgent matters. Anyhow the questionnaire won't verify his identity. I've searched the forums and I have found nothing that is useful. I've reset his password and tried to reach the option that states "contact customer support" but it's not there. He's filled out the questionnaire god knows how many times and i cannot find a number for customer support.

Please help, my dad has been a loyal hotmail user and this incident is just really frustrating.
thanks in advance

I have been trying to access my hotmail/outlook account after forgetting my password.  It always gives me the questionnaire page to answer in order to regain access.  This was not my main email account.  I use it primarily to register on websites, internet shopping, etc.  Nevertheless this means that I do not send any emails from it.  So, I can not enter anything in the questions regarding recently sent email addresses or recent subject lines.  Sicne I can't answer these questions, it always tells me that I have not provided enough information in order to regain access.  Is there any other way to regain access to that email account?

For no apparent reason, Microsoft has locked me out of my Hotmail account.

I have then had TWO attempts at filling out the questionnaire form. How could this possibly be, the ONLY security process to gain access back to your account???

On the questionnaire I answered the five questions as follows;

- I have entered two previous passwords
- I have entered two recent sent emails
- I have NOT created any other folders other than the defaults
- I do not remember email addresses whom I have sent recent emails to
- I DO NOT have an Xbox Live prepaid card number. Therefore, I answered the questions to the best of my ability.

I have been told my answers were not good enough, and I need to create a new account. I also spoke to two customer service agents who could not resolve the situation, but also advised me to simply create a new account. They also would not put me on to a manager regarding the matter.

It is not that simple, I have content, business matter and important emails and documents that I need access to on this specific account, and for me to be denied access TO MY OWN ACCOUNT and told to create a new one, is not acceptable.

The 'security measures' for Hotmail are to answer five questions about the content of the email account, that is not good enough. I was even willing to send through copy’s of my driver’s license or birth certificate (which mind you, are PROPER security measures) but no, I’m told that ISNT the process.

This is ridiculous and I am not happy at all, these so called 'security measures' actually work against you.

Someone please get back to me as soon as possible with a RESOLUTION, what else can I do (besides the questionnaire) to get my account back.
