I used to get the pop up notice for new e-mails, I signed up to Skype and now I don't get the notice, How can I get that back?

My hotmail account will not merge with Skype after several days of trying

I have tried numerous methods to get my Hotmail account to merge with Skype pending the change on 15th March, that none of us want bye the way.

I have an HP all in one computer less than 6 months old with i3 chip on Windows 7 home premium.

Because of the stress that these constant attempts to merge these accounts over many days I have now uninstalled Windows Live Messenger and Skype and express my disgust that something being forced upon us doesn't even work and going by the hundreds of blogs out there I'm not on my own.

Msn messenger problem (Missing contacts)

i have a major problem regarding my msn contacts. It all begun when i tried to link / merge my msn account with my skype account as i was told that msn messenger will stop working soon. The first 2 days everything was ok, but then i wasn't able to see any contact online through Skype application. I tried to log in from my msn messenger and there were no contacts online there also. I contacted Skype team and i asked them to unlink my msn account from Skype. I did unlink them but still i cannot see any contacts online on my msn messenger. I went to my account where i saw that i had to recover my contacts cause they were deleted somehow. I did recover them but still i cannot see anyone online. What can we do for this issue?

 I use to be able to text my nieces phones from my computer for free now i have to pay for it?????    prefer messenger not the skype why is messenger changing???????.

i would like to sign in as invisible , or busy, or away, how can i change this. i dont like this new microsoft thing with the skype, i would rather have my other messenger back

My friend is blocked on the messenger part of skype and I can't unblock him, why not. and incidentally I didn't block him in the first place, skype did

J'ai voulu telecharger SKYPE , depuis je n'ai plus HOTMAIL , ni  MSN , est ce lier au menace que j'avais reçu par mail , auquel je vous en avais informer .... COmment faire pour recuperer HOTMAIL .... Je vous remercie pour votre aide

Windows Live Messenger problem

I recently decided to try out Skype. When I did this, they automatically deleted(uninstalled my Windows Live Messenger. Now I realise that I hate Skype, and I want back my Windows Live Messenger back. I have tried many ways to get it back to no avail. I really would appreciate it if anyone can give me some advice on how I can get rid of Skype and return to my Windows Live messenger. All answers are appreciated. I really do hate Skype. It is not easy to use as my old Live messenger
