I WANT TO USE BOTH SKYPE AND MESENGER BUT DOWNLOADED SEPERATELY.HOW TO SEPERATE MESENGER FROM SKYPE.PLEASE HELP ME.
A few days ago, I set up four (4) new email accounts on Windows Live Mail (I already have 2 such accounts, including one set up last week for Skype, so I can do it, is possible)
Initially, there was an error message, now gone, does not repeat, can't recall the number
Each time I open my 'email', the other accounts are opened, but the 4 in question, continue to ask me to complete the 'properties box', twice for each address, but for no result
The banner line of each email page states that '...in synchronising your accounts ... please return in a few minutes' (or something like that ...
In the Left Column, where the addresses are lsited, there are no ... inobx, sent etc ... for the 4 new boxes
It is like they are in limbo ... I followed the process outlined, it seemed fairly simple
Perhaps I have omitted to do 'something'
A bit confused ... do not know whether to simply delete them, try to start again ...
Anu ideas would be appreciated

I can not use messenger windows live 2012 or outlook messenger.
Skype can not connect mit my microsft account I DONT HAVE MORE WINDOWWS 8.
Nothing wors, and microsoft and skype and outlook allways say on internet things that never worked or impossible
to program.

A few days ago I bought a Microsoft surface , the product is amazing overall but my Skype has been playing up . I try to call one of my friends and it keeps ringing but never gets to them. They ring me and I press the answer button and it automatically ends the call . I thought it might have been my Wi-Fi playing up but I tried Skype at other peoples houses and it did the exact same thing , I was wondering if it was my tablet playing up, or my Skype or even my Wi-Fi.

I connected with Skype so I could chat with Skype contacts from Live mail. When I did I ended up with 101 more contacts that are all phone numbers. It says network for each number. I am unable to delete any of them I uninstalled windows live and deleted every file I could find and I even went back to an earlier restore point but when I reinstalled window essentials the phone numbers still appear. Where are these numbers coming from and how do I get rid of then?

I have been using Live Mail for years without any problem. I also have used Skype for a long time as well. I now have a multitude of problems with my contacts list as it combined somehow Skype and Live Mail. I cannot go to LiveMail and correct and/or eliminate
the bad numbers. It seems to have inserted about 15-20 long distance phone numbers that I cannot remove. To make things worse, I bought a new replacement computer with Windows8.1 and have additional problems to muddy up the situation. It seems I now have on
window7 or 8, an ancient Hotmail application has now shown up that shows something from the archives. My main quest is to clean up my Live mail installs contacts and keep it disassociated with Skype (if that is possible) Is there someone from Microsoft that
can help me straighten this out.

Hi I have recently been unable to access my skype account and trying to get support from the official skype website is just impossible. I have tried using the password reset token and I keep getting the same reply that states that my password/username
is not recognised. This is the second time that this has happened in recent months, on the first occasion I became so frustrated with trying to get help via skype that I gave up and created a new account.
I would like to know if it is possible for your skype account to be hacked and if so what can we do to prevent that from happening? (I know that I am entering the correct username and password).
I would also like to know if there is anyway of retrieving my old accounts? The official help for skype website is permenantly down (oops looks like our site is currently having probs etc) and has been like that for months.
I have phoned the microsoft helpline who were less than helpful so anyone that can give me advice I would be very grateful,
