This has occurred 3 times.  Steps to reproduce:

  1. Navigate to my local version on my HD to upload it to a Web page form submission
  2. Do the same the next day, only file has disappeared from both local and the Skydrive folder
  3. Find it in the Recycle Bin, then do a Restore

The only thing different about this Word document is that 'Read Only Recommended' is checked. I have since unchecked it and saved it and will see if that is the problem.

Last night I went to access my SkyDrive and found that all my files and directories were missing.  There were only four high level directories with one or two files in each.  This morning I found all my missing data in the SkyDrive recycle bin.  When I chose to Restore All – everything was indeed restored.  I’m wondering whether this has happened to others (all SkyDrive data ending up unexpectedly in the Recycle Bin, i.e. a SkyDrive quirk) or whether my SkyDrive security has perhaps somehow been breached.

My OS is Windows 8

Thanks,

Nick

I had three versions of my email account in Outlook 2013. I deleted 2. Everything worked fine except I have no Address Book/Contacts!

I retrieved the 2 deleted versions of my email account from the Recycle Bin back into Outlook 2013. No Contacts still.

Tried \Users\Username\Appdata\Local\Microsoft\OUtlook as advised by MS website. Nothing there.

I searched for .pst files and .wab files on my back up disc and only found files from 2007!

I found a .cvs file as LIve Mail Contacts (which I no longer use) but it is 5 months out of date.

Why when I delete a duplicate email account does my Address Book go as well?

I have no idea where my current Contacts in Address Book for OUtlook 2013 have gone and how I can restore them. My business is on hold till I can restore them.

Is there anyway to find out if MS have a backup of data on the Skydrive? It would seem that a really important folder (A2A) has disappeared from my HD and Skydrive. There's no copy in the Recycle Bin which if I had deleted should be there.

There was a bit of a glitch earlier when I was reviewing folder contents, the contents were not loading and the search (green activity bar) was sitting there for ages. I switched away to do something else and now the folder and its contents are not there (or anywhere). I've got some important artwork that I was working on for a theatre company...

Any ideas, help would be really really helpful.

Many thanks

Wendy

By mistake I deleted all the emails in my inbox.  I also clear my trash after reading messages.  In error, the emails I wanted to keep were deleted.  How can I get them back.  I tried going to my Recycle Bin, looked at everything, but the emails were not there.  Help?
