Hi,
Recently Photo Gallery has been inconsistent in displaying images. Sometimes my files pop up with normal images and color. Other times, it pops up with muted colors. It's the entire file/all files, not just a single image or two. Can't edit when the colors are muted. The images appear totally washed out. Today I can't get it to display properly except in muted colors even when I reopen Photo Gallery.
Anyone have a clue what is happening? I thought my computer has been notifying me of updates. I have Windows Photo Gallery 2012, Build 16.4.3522.110. It may be installed as part of Windows Essentials because I use Windows Movie Maker also with my projects.

Just a Second ago nearly all of the People Tags of Photo Gallery disappeared.
I think it is a syncing issue with skydrive? i used my ultrabook to tag people on Pictures i took on hollyday, and when i came back and turned on the Photo Gallery of my Desktop, only the People i Tagged with my Ultrabook the last days where there. Also, "marked" pictures are almost all gone, but i cant understand, which are left and which are gone.
(I lost a ton of work if there would be no way back)
the menu is highlighted when I open the program
the program gives no reaction when I click on Import

Hi there, I'm wondering if anyone might be able to help with a simple question.
I am a very amateur photographer and often take a series of photos using different exposure and aperture settings in order to learn how they affect the photos that result.
I have used photo software in the past which displays these settings alongside each photo and this helps me to easily see which settings produce the best results, and to know what settings to use in similar situations in the future.
Does anyone know if there is a way to achieve this same view in Windows Live Photo Gallery?
I know that I can right click on each photo and select properties to obtain this info but it's extremely time consuming when I might have 20 or more photos to compare and I am trying to flip back and forth between them to compare.
I'm really looking for some sort of submenu that might say something like 'View: show properties' but I can only find settings to show tags, captions, ratings etc, none of which are of the slightest interest to me.
Does anyone know if it's possible to have some sort of setting where the photo's properties are always shown?
I'd be really grateful for any help.
Hammy
When I click movie maker button up comes
import from device and I the box of import photo and the video comes up blank where nothing shows in the box. Is there a web site that has easy directions for using photo gallery. When I select more and import my pictures ,then I save it and then go back the next day I can not edit the pictures.I seem to get mixed up .Also how many pictures will go on a DVD 4.7 gm.
