Photo Gallery has started acting strange. I cannot add folders to the Pictures Library using Photo Gallery "Include Folder".

I have to use File Explorer to add a folder to the Pictures Library.  This just started happening.
Within Live photo gallery, after a photo folder is opened, how do you go back to the photo gallery list? There is no option on the ribbon t go back

When cropping a picture in photo gallery, after cropping, how do you save the new crop? I can not find anywhere to do this. I see a little check mark at the bottom, but after checking,  it does not save the new picture in the respective folder.

Thanks,

Newby-01

I accidentally downloaded files onto my photo gallery site, over 1000 files and don't know how to correct this
I downloaded Photo Gallery and Movie Maker two days ago. Photo Gallery worked fine, but Movie Maker still doesn't start. I have looked through the system requirements: We have Windows 7 32-bit version, 1 GB RAM, 2.20 GHz, Internet Browser is Chrome, Internet connection is broadband, we have DirectX 11 installed, and both Photo Gallery and Movie Maker are downloaded.
As for the internet browser, we also have Firefox 3.0.1. We also have Media Player installed.

I opened Movie Maker, it appeared but it said "Not Responding" and closes, then this message shows up, and says:

"Sorry, Movie Maker can't start. Make sure your computer meets the minimum system requirements before trying to start Movie Maker again, and then try to update the driver of your video card if Movie Maker doesn't start."

Oh, and just in case this is important, our computer is HP Pavilion a6540d.
I'm having a lot of trouble with Photo Gallery in printing my photos.  As soon as I hit print, the picture is normal for about 3 seconds, then turns all greenish looking and prints all greenish looking. I spent about one hour with the  printer support guy and we came to the conclusion that it is not the printer.  Photo Gallery constantly freezes.  I have already downloaded the "fixes", but they didn't "work".  So I would like to permanently remove it from my pc.  But I can't find an uninstall button anywhere and it is not listed in the add/remove programs' list. I'd rather use the old fashioned Microsoft Picture Manager.

Thank you,

Although Photo Gallery is connected to my Microsoft Account, I cannot get it to find my existing SkyDrive albums or create a new one to upload photos.  I upgraded from Windows Live Photo Gallery 2011 to Windows Photo Gallery 2012 and there was no change in behavior.  When I try to upload photos by clicking the SkyDrive icon in Home > Share, the Publish on SkyDrive dialog says: "Sorry, something went wrong and we couldn't get your album list."  If I try to create a new album, I get the following error: "A network error has occurred. Please check your network connection and try again."

I have tried signing out and back in to my MS Account - no problems. My SkyDrive is accessible through all other means - web, local sync app, etc.  Photo upload has worked flawlessly in the past, but it's been quite a while since I've used it.  I assumed something changed on the SkyDrive end, but Photo Gallery 2012 has the same problems as 2011.  OS is x64 Win 7 and I've done a repair of .NET Framework 4, installed all the latest updates and rebooted.  No luck.  Any suggestions?  Thanks.

Original title: Unable To Open Photo Gallery

I have recently started to have a problem opening photo gallery and my photo folders appear to be missing.  I initially received the error message 0x80070003. I then uninstalled in reinstalled windows essentials, but are now getting the following message "One or more folders included in photo gallery is offline and is preventing photo gallery from starting.

Either remove offline folders from photo gallery using windows explorer or make sure that all folders are online and try starting photo gallery again"

I checked and there does not appear to be any offline folders, and am at a loss to what to do next.  At this stage I am unable to open any photo folders.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Photo Gallery I download Photo Gallery form Microsoft and I get a lot of Junk with it.

Error code :0x80070005 will not run. I'm just trying to send photos I Outlook express.

I did not have this with Hotmail.

I added a picture that someone sent me to the photo gallery to print. (sent to me through an Iphone)  after that quite a few of my pictures came up missing.  I had them all sorted out by date or title. Now the ones that are left are all mixed together and some are duplicated.  I cannot find them anywhere. Also there empty folders that say the file is either missing, deleted or corrupt. How do I get them back?
Hello, I've tried everything. I'm running windows 8, and go to download Movie Maker from this link: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-live/movie-maker

I click Get It Now next to Windows 8, Click download now.  Then I go to my downloads folder, right click, run as administrator.  I run custom install, and only check Photo Gallery/Movie Maker.  I run the program and I get the response:

Couldn't install programs
Couldn't install these programs: Photo Gallery and Movie Maker
One of the installation files appears to be corrupted.
Error: 0x80070002

Currently I am running Norton Security Suite, and before installing I put it on silent mode, disabled the smart firewall, and disabled the antivirus auto-protect.  That's about all I can do short of uninstalling it.  Lastly, I checked to see if windows live was on my computer and it is not, and I checked my program files/common files and there is nothing.  Also my computer has all current windows updates for windows 8.  Any help would be much appreciated.
