I have a main account in Outlook, plus 3 more.  I also have two other Live mail accounts.

All these emails are being managed by Window's Live Mail.

In the past month, all emails coming into my Outlook accounts, Hotmail and Live accounts are being sent to ONE Main Outlook.

They are not linked to each other nor no forwarding options have been set.

I called Microsoft 3 times and there is no Live help for this issue.  I'm frustrated because I use one for work and when I respond it is using my personal email.  I'm disappointed how limited Windows Live Mail is getting.  Can someone help with this email duplication issue?

Thank you,

Tania

I have the latest updated version of Outlook for Mac v14.3.6 and I keep getting the error:

Could not synchronize record: <my_calendar_event>
EndDate is earlier than StartDate
Error code -19982

It is associated with a calendar event that I have since deleted to try and resolve the error but it stills keep popping up. I am getting several of these errors every hour and it is very annoying!

I believe that my office is using a Exchange 2007 server if that helps..

Hi,

All my old emails are gone after I upgraded to outlook. But all my old contacts are still there.

Could you please help to recover the old emails? It seems that a lot of people are facing similar issues. I do not use an outlook client and message threading is turned off. There are no emails.

Thank you.

Hello All:

Among the many, many issues we have with this software, a new problem has cropped up: in the last 2 days, the HTML content of emails from Amazon regarding shipping do not show under Outlook for Mac 2011 (365 Home Premium) - the emails are totally blank.

I can read them on my iPhone and at Gmail's webmail, but NOT with Outlook. We are increasingly sorry that we switched from Entourage...

Any help out there?

Thanks, in advance,
I've browsed the forum and I am not seeing an answer that works for my situation. I don't have ANY email addresses blocked. I can view all my emails in my webmail, but some of them do not come to my Outlook 2010 inbox. I have already deleted my email account and set it up again in Outlook, but this did not fix the problem. How can I fix this, please?

I recently had some issues with my old Hotmail account where Microsoft was constantly saying that it detected an incorrect password so I had to use the captha image. This happened two or three times  day. Figuring that it was time to change to and @outlook.com address I deleted all my devices that were connecting to my Hotmail account (and yes, they all used the correct password), and I set forwarding to a new @outlook.com account. I then proceeded to connect my iPhone, iPad, office computer (through Outlook), and home computer (also through Outlook) to my new @outlook.com account. I also have a security system which emails which is also connected to my @outlook.com account. Everything seemed to be working fairly well after verifying my account as requested. The next day I was asked

Hello Txxx xxxxxxxx,

To continue sending messages, please sign in and validate your Outlook.com account.

This helps us stop automated programs from sending junk email.

Thanks for your help and patience!

I did as asked. Then the next day, I received the same email, and so on. This is getting really annoying to the point where Google email is starting to look pretty good.

Hi all,

I am new to Mac so diagnosing issues is a bit hard for me at the moment.  I noticed this week that emails were not appearing in my Outlook inbox even though I hear them coming in on my iPhone.  I do a manual send.rec in Outlook and the emails arrive.  Even setting up a schedule does not work.

I setup the same exchange Office365 email using Mail but the same problem.  However there are no issues when I log into Office365 webmail, emails pop in automatically.  With Outlook and Mail I need to do a manual send/rec to receive emails.

Although my iPhone buzzing alerts me to incoming emails, I still find this frustrating.  Can anyone help?

Alfie

I need ONE calendar that is accessible on four PCS and an Android phone (Galaxy S 4), all physically located in different places and different networks but all mine and not shared with anyone else.

  • Google calendar doesn't cut it. Pretty good but insufficient categorization and recurring event capability.  GUI is not very informative.
  • Windows 8 Calendar on Sky Drive doesn't cut it. Very elementary and featureless
  • There is only one calendar that I have found to be acceptable that has all the necessary features. Outlook!  What a concept.

Outlook Calendar in any of the Office suites is wonderful.  Colored categories, excellent recurring event features, the works. However, It is not easy to share it without a special server.

  • I have my main Outlook pst file on my main PC.
  • I have eight POP mail accounts.
  • All accounts are accessed on my main computer.
  • A subset accessed by each of the other computers.
  • Only one computer of the group may delete mail on a single POP account server and no one computer deletes mail on all the servers.
  • Each of the computers have their own pst file.

I have tried making a separate pst as a Master Calendar file and stored it on SkyDrive to be accessed by each of the computers when outlook opens.  It sort of works but does not sync properly.  ("Properly" is defined as syncing the way I want it to")

  1. It seems that each computer makes a separate copy of the master and stores that back on SkyDrive.
  2. I want the SkyDrive copy to stay in sync with any changes made on any of the other computers including Android.
  3. No two devices need to access the file at the same time although it would be nice if they could.
  4. I do not want to have to make an ics copy of the master calendar file.

Come on Microsoft - make this work!  You can generate a set of application requirements from this note.  Just make it work.  You have done it with One Note.  Why not Outlook?

As far as I am concerned, the office apps in the Windows 8 Metro environment are pretty useless, particularly for someone who has been using Office and Outlook for as long as it has been on the market.  Why take a giant step backwards?

Version 14.3.6:  What is Error code 108 and how do I fix this? I can see the e-mails on my webmail account but they won't download because of this message. Does it have to do with the size of my Outlook pst file?
