Hello, I installed Office for Mac 2011 and when it synced the contacts (through Exchange), most of the contact photos now no longer show in OWA or in Outlook 2013 from my Windows PC's. They are not lost: In Outlook 2013 (for windows) they appear instead under "Notes", in the form of a thumbnail jpeg. On my Mac, however, the photos show up correctly. None of my windows accounts (e.g., windows phone) now show any photos any longer. I tried some troubleshooting: I deleted all my contacts from everything, and imported them back to Outlook for Mac and synced them, but the photos still show only under "notes" in the Windows accounts. On my Mac, however, the photos show up correctly.

How can I solve the issue? I see the same problem reported by other people, but I am not aware of a resolution. I have posted this questions in Windows forums, etc., but I did not get any helpful advice yet.
All:

Mountain Lion
Mac Pro Retina 13" maxed out configuration

I have recently transferred my Outlook from previous Mac Pro to this machine. Outlook opens ad runs well, but freezes every time on close. I have tried:

Rebuilding identities
Removing old identity backups
Reinstallation

Also, I recall a thread regarding conflicting preference files but cannot seem to locate it now.

TYIA for any insights into this issue.

Cannot  open any of messages, because all my access functions in Outlook have disappeared except for "New." I can compose and send a new message, but all my function icons for Delete, Move, Actions, etc. have all vanished from my toolbar in Outlook. How can I get them back, ASAP? I have even closed out of Outlook and re-signed back in, but I get the same thing.
Recently, my Outlook program has started crashing every time I try to send an email.

Does anyone know what is causing this error?

When I look where you pick whether to display in the right, bottom or off they are all three already checked with a dark black dot.  I can't change these.  I was a Hotmail account that was changed to Outlook.  After many other squirrely things happening, I would normally reinstall the program but I'm afraid that since I didn't buy it but was changed to it, that I won't be able to download it without a charge.  Any suggestions as to the problem?
I had a few hundred emails on my webmail server and finally got Outlook set up. When I hit "Send/Receive", it appeared to have downloaded everything, with the exception of the Sent Messages. Any idea how to get them, or where it might have put them other than the Sent Items folder? Some, but definitely not all, of my sent items are still on the webmail server, so I think they may be somewhere in Outlook.

Thanks,
david
Hi - I had this all working okay between Outlook 2010, Outlook.com and my Windows phone - now the calendar and tasks aren't syncing.  I receive the error message :
Task: 'Hotmail' reported error (0-8004102A) error with send/receive. there was an error synchronizing your folder hierarchy. error: 800cce05.
Task: 'Hotmail' reported error (0x800CCE05): 'synchronization error'.

Any suggestions?  Thanks.

I have the 2 disc for outlook & Microsoft office that I purchased 2-3 months ago; plus I have the product keys; Yet I have spent 3-4 hours trying to re-install both outlook 2013 and Microsoft office with no success at all. Also I cannot find anywhere that allows me to use the web to download and use my product keys.

I am not able to receive any notices from this question as I have no email account so I will need to follow from this forum for replies

The last few days our Inbox has been receiving emails that we had previously set rules to place into our Junk box.  When we try to set a new rule using the sweep function (as we have in the past) the message stays in the InBox and we get the following message:

Sorry, Outlook wasn't able to complete this request. If you keep seeing this message, go to Service status to check if there's a problem with Outlook.

We have looked in the Service status and it states that everything is running normally.

This is getting very frustrating.
