have found that with Outlook having taken over. I am no longer able to reply to certain sites. When it was only Hotmail, it would automatically kick in and there were no issues. We can't even download the Outlook site. Outlook won't even recognize my husband's e-mail address. I miss Hotmail!
One of our user is having issue when it comes to the due date of his outlook for PC/windows.
Tasks were created using outlook for mac, then these tasks were also sync to exchange, OWA and outlook for MAC is showing the correct due dates for the tasks created, but not in outlook for PC/windows. Exchange server's time and timezone is the same with the user's device.

Anyone here having the same issue?
How did you solve this issue?

Having trouble importing Apple Contacts into Outlook 2011 for Mac.  The instructions in the Outlook for Mac help function direct you to export to a vCard file and place it on the desktop.  Then drag the file from the desktop to the "Contacts" folder in Outlook.  When I do that nothing happens.

The Import function in Outlook 2011 for Mac does not have an import selection for vCards, just .pst and comma delimited or text files.

Is there something that I'm doing wrong.  The directions seem so simple, but it's not working.

Dear Forum,

I am using Outlook for Mac 14.3.8 (latest version) under Mac OS 10.8.5 (latest version) on a Macbook Pro Retina, Mid 2012.
I have been using Office for Mac on my Macbook happily for many months, but since about one month I have a serious problem.

Outlook will crash at random times, meaning I see the "spinning wheel", when clicking on the Outlook window. This alone would not be a tragedy, but I am unable to "Force quit" Outlook. Not only this, but soon after this all other active processes freeze as well! The only way to resolve the situation is to restart the macbook by holding down the power button.

I have contacted the Apple support, who suggested to clean the caches and to verify/repair the SSD hard disk. This has been done, but it has not solved the problem. And interestingly, the freezing occurs only when Outlook is running, so I would be tempted to exclude a hardware or OS defect.

Unfortunately I can not say what has triggered this issue (e.g. update of Outlook or update of Mac OS).

I would be thankful for hints on how to investigate this problem in more detail. I have checked the Console, but found no entries that could be related to this.

Best regards,
Leopold Talirz
When I start Outlook to read my emails, an email from September 12, 2013 shows up. This happens if I use Google Chrome as the browser, but not if I use Internet Explorer 8. If I delete the email, then I get an error when I start Outlook. How do I get rid of this default message (it's a pain)? Thanks for your helpful suggestions.
I am using an older computer with Windows XP SP2. Also, IE 8 is much slower to use than Google Chrome. SJC
version 14.0.7106.5003 (32 bit)
Windows 7 Home Premium with SP1

I have encountered two problems recently:

1.  When I try to create a new message, the new message window is behind the parent window.  Previously, it would appear on top of the parent.

2.  I tried to attach a file.  The dialog opened to browse and pick the file (which I did), but the file was not attached to the Outlook message.

My Outlook is configured to work without using a browser.  It has worked properly for years.  I was wondering if a recent software patch might have broken some code.

Thanks for your help
Mike

Hello,

I've been using Google Apps for emails for my custom domain. Now with recent changes in Outlook.com I'm highly impressed with their new email service & would like to move to Outlook. I'm not looking for premium Office 365 email options. I'm investigating option for managing my domain using Windows Live at domains.live.com but my concern is moving my old data.

How would I move my old emails to Outlook.com server? (currently i'm using Google Apps for Business)

Thank you.

I just got Outlook 2013 on my PC and I have two questions:

  1. I see the "Trash" folder, on my favorites bar, but where is my "Deleted Items" folder
  2. When I use the delete button within Outlook 2013 where are the items stored and how do I get to them?

Thank you,

Sarah Steele

I have outlook and was having my emails forwarded from Windows live and it was fine until about 1pm today. Now outlook info said, "there is a problem forwarding email to this address" I have no idea why and have checked all my info and can find no problem, what do I do now?
