Created an alias on my outlook account.
Unable to send an email from this new alias email address. When I click on 'New - write a new message' I only have my original email address listed to send from - no new alias email address.
Unable to receive an email addressed to new alias email address. I have sent test emails from a number of sources and they do not arrive in my outlook inbox.
The messages are bounced with the sender receiving the following message:
"SNT0-MC1-F15.Snt0.hotmail.com rejected your message to the following e-mail addresses:
*** Email address is removed for privacy *** (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***)
SNT0-MC1-F15.Snt0.hotmail.com gave this error:
Requested action not taken: mailbox unavailable"

Have a GMAIL account and an Outlook.com account
In the outlook account have a folder *****@outlook.com which is where incoming email is landing - prefer it to default to the inbox.
I have set up the gmail account to autoforward to the outlook account -
following other guidance today installed windows live essentials to use to move over the gmail folder messages to the outlook account - this worked but since then the mail app in metro cannot connect to outlook and when in outlook.com incoming goes to the ****@outlook.com folder not the inbox
in windows live everything is ok

How do I edit my outlook account information, including removing or adding new ID pictures?
ive been trying to log in to my outlook account. however because i set it up so long ago i've forgotten the password. i've tried several and now it says i have to wait before getting reset options. how long do i have to wait?

I've been trying to disable my twitter account from my Outlook account for weeks now and yet it is still connected. It's embarrassing because I am constantly emailing professional people and a Justin Bieber picture pops up because of an old twitter account.
I've tried the instructions 100000 times and deactivated the account but yet it still shows. If I can get help with this it would be much appreciated ..
Just bought this computer and will not let me into Hotmail. Had to sign up for outlook. Says I should be able to get my Hotmail account added, but when I try to get it, it pops into my outlook account and says I already have that account. Very frustrated
that I can't get my business emails that are already there! How do I get to Hotmail and not outlook???

I can receive but cant send emails. The emails get stuck in the outbox. My broadband provider is orange. Have spent 3 ours on the phone to them but still no joy

I'm trying to access my outlook account and cannot automatically sign-in. I'm not sure if this is an issue on my PC or server error with the site. No error codes are shown site; just states "something went wrong and we cant sign you in right now. please try again later."
