How Do I Recover a Deleted Outlook Account?

Hi Moderators,

I accidentally deleted my Outlook account and now unable to login to my computer (Windows 8). How do I recover my deleted Outlook account? I tried to log-in as if I did not delete it and I get an error message that states “That Microsoft account doesn't exist”. Please help.

I am able to access my outlook account but it looks like someone used my contact list to send out e-mails. What should I do?

I just recently switched from Hotmail to outlook because my account was locked for the longest time. I did not have a cell phone so couldn't receive a text messages with any security codes. Anyhow, when I finally got all that security screening out of the way my outlook account DELETED or DID NOT TRANSFER all of my old Hotmail information.

I have no idea what happened.

Outlook Password issues

My son downloaded Skype (for mobile), and when we went to log in using his "microsoft" outlook account it said the password was incorrect. So I went to Outlook.com (on a pc) and I reset the password to the one I thought it was, only to get an error message saying you can't use one you've already used. So I made a small change, and it said the change was successful, however when I tried to sign in to check it was ok, I am getting password incorrect message AGAIN. What the heck is going on? not impressed

I can’t make an existing outlook account to link to primary hotmail account

Please walk me through this one!

I have two existing hotmail accounts, one for personal use and one for business. I have always had them linked, so that the business emails would be forwarded to the personal account, thus saving me from signing in/out all the time.

Perhaps I'm doing this "alias" thing wrong, but when I go to 'Add an existing email address as a Microsoft account alias' I get the following:

'this email address is part of a reserved domain such as live.com, hotmail.com, or msn.com. Please enter a different email address.'

Of course it is! The ability to link and forward accounts is the reason I made my business email the same domain as my personal email.

Please tell me there is a way to do this. I just spent a lot of money on new business cards with the other account address!

Hi,

I originally had an account with you guys which I used to setup a custom domain with a email. That spawned a second account. On top of that I have two other alias' that I use which when created, create each their own account as well. If there was a way to have my outlook account, and my three custom domain alias' on one account. As of right now my original account has all my purchases I made at the windows phone store on top of xbox live connected to it.

I have problem to log in to my outlook account. When I do log in, this error occurs:

This account can't be used to access Outlook.com

You're currently signed in with an Office 365 email account, which can't be used with Outlook.com. Please click here to sign out of your Office 365 account, then use another Microsoft account to sign in to Outlook.com (for example, your hotmail.com, live.com, or msn.com account).

I have used this account for 2 years with no problem.

Could anyone please tell me how can I solve this problem please?

Linking 2 outlook.com accounts

Hi i have 2 outlook.com accounts and till today i have this accounts linked. One of this was my primary outlook.com account and one was an account with my personal domain. I have seen that ms has removed linking feature and a workaround should be using a alias or adding a send-and-recive-account. So a alias would work because i can use only ms domains like hotmail, live or outlook. If i use the send-and-recive-account i recive the following message:

It looks like you're trying to add another Outlook account. Try linking your Outlook accounts together to make switching between them fast and easy.

?!?!. By clicking on the link in this message i came to the account link page which displays me this:

The page is unavailable or no longer exists

DAMN! And now?
