My Outlook 2010 has stopped working.   It tells me there is an upgrade in progress.   It has been telling me that for the past month.    I have tried updating the latest Outlook Hotmail Connector, but to no avail.   Please help.   Thanks..

I use Windows 7 Home Premium.  I wish to use Mail Merge in Outlook 2010 but when I click the Mail Merge button, the system states I have to install the version of Word that matches the installed version of MS Outlook.  But when I click OK nothing happens.  Does the MS Office Starter (English) installed on my laptop meet Outlook requirement? If so, why does Outlook not recognise it.  If not, what do I need to do or is there an alternative method of Mail Merging within Outlook 2010?
I just set up an Outlook.com account with the intent of switching from gmail. I'd like to duplicate my current system: Outlook 2010 downloads messages from an Earthlink server, which are then deleted from the server. Outlook 2010 contacts and calendar sync separately to my gmail account via a third party application. Any messages not downloaded from the Earthlink server into Outlook 2010 (in other words, while Outlook 2010 is not active on my desktop) is downloaded to gmail. My iPhone 4s then fetches (gmail recently eliminated push feature) the messages from gmail, but leave them on the Earthlink server until Outlook 2010 is launched.

During the Outlook.com set up, I added an Earthlink POP account that I use with Outlook 2010.  However, when messages are downloaded from the Earthlink server to Outlook.com, it shows up in a folder I was asked to create when configuring Earthlink POP settings. I need the messages to be directed to the Inbox so I can get them to my iPhone. Obviously, I did something wrong in the set up and cannot figure out how to fix it. I read the threads regarding deleting POP messages from the server, etc, but that does not appear to be my issue. Advice would be appreciated.
I've been using the Hotmail connector to link my outlook.com to Outlook 2010  for about a month without any issues.    Today the receiving part has stopped but I can still send outgoing mail.    I've not seen any errors when Outlook 2010 does the sync.   I can really use some ideas on what the problem could be.
Hi
I have recently upgraded my laptop to Windows 8 operating system and re-installed my Outlook 2010 (32 Bit) but cannot find any way to import or sync mt hotmail calendar with my outlook.  I have a windows phone which is great but I need to be able to sync calendars.

I have tried to download the Outlook Connector but it will not download saying not supported by operating system.

Has any body a solution please?
Thanks
Chris
I have spent the last 45 minutes calling Microsoft support for an issue with Outlook 2010.  We installed it, had an issue opening the calendar.  After trying to troubleshoot the issue myself for quite some time, I called support.  So far (and still holding) they transferred me through 6 different people and no one has helped me.  This is ridiculous.

My hotmail account is working fine on Outlook 2010.  When I use it on Outlook 2013, I am not getting most of my emails in folders and keeps going offline.  My server default is bay-m.hotmail.com.  My husbands hotmail account on server blu-m.hotmail.com works fine on the same computer.  Also the new WIndows 8 mail app is not pulling on all of my emails.  Is there an issue with server bay-m.hotmail.com.  Again it works fine in Office 2010 and my iphone.

I have tried deleting the profile and starting a new.  As this is a new computer, I have restored it and started over.  I have tried to change the server and it keeps changing back.  I believe this is specific to my account or server.  Please help!  I would to use Outlook 2010 jus tto solve this problem.

How can I change from offline emails to online to receive emails with Microsoft Outlook 2010
For the past 2 weeks, when I try sending out an email, instead of going out it goes into the Outbox of my Personal Folder. I then have to go into that folder, open the email and hit send again. to get it out.  Comcast cannot help me, and the place I go to for IT support insists it is a setting in Outlook for which they cannot help. They insist I have all Microsoft updates and have no virus.  Can anyone give me an idea of what the problem is? This just started about 2 weeks ago.    It was been suggested that I inactivate/delete  my Personal Folders, but I am afraid to do that since I have no idea what will happen to the email I am trying to get out.  HELP

  I use Windows 7 and Outlook 2010

I have an outlook.com email address with 3 aliases and I can send/receive email via the Outlook web site from my PC as well as my Android phone (with the Outlook.com app) and everything syncs okay. I really don’t care for online email so I would like to manage these email accounts with Outlook 2010 but I don’t see any way to send/receive directly from these outlook.com addresses with OL 2010. Is it possible manage these addresses with Outlook 2010? Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations? Thanks in advance.
